haven't tried printing on these yet. sharpie, precise sharpie, and ballpoint pen all work fine. very sticky tape and seems like it will be durable but i won't know until months/years from now. i'm using these on cables for music gear, some of which will see alot of abuse. just take your time when you're applying them to cables and they'll go on without wrinkling (or wrinkling too much). So far for the larger cables, no problem. But for very very small cable (think 1/4 headphones), already a tiny edge of the tape has come up. It's no undoing itself but i can see that this will catch on the cables. I think for permanent installations like network closet this is no problem at all; but if you're using this for music gear for live shows, it's something to watch out for.

We finished re wiring out network and server racks and labeled hundreds of cables with these and I can say without reservation that these worked perfectly. It took a while to get the page and margins set right. But once you get that set its very easy to use .The printer we used was an old HP laserjet 1300 that we hand laying around. A LASER PRINTER IS CRITICAL! I made and excel spreadsheet to save time and keep track of the cable numbers. I can see why some people have issue with the labels coming off, if you put them on a cable that is constantly bending or twisting, they won't last. This is not a problem on a network rack. UPDATE: Done a few projects with them now and they are the only label I'll use. Keep a fine tip sharpe and a blank sheet around for replacement cable and "one-offs" (make sure to let the ink dry). Adhesion over time is not an issue. If your working any job with more then a dozen cables and you don't use these, youre doing it wrong. Hands down these are the best value for money and time around. I would not recommend these for DJs or any situation where the cables are being move and wound up and bent constantly. You need a hard plastic or vinyl label for that.

***Updated review*** I initially received the wrong product, but the mistake was quickly remedied. I ordered the colored, but the white was sent. The color ones were sent and arrived the next day. I have printed and placed several of the labels. They seem like they will hold up nicely. I think it is important to not print them too closely, time-wise, because the heat of the printer will make some of the stickers to come off. It is best to do one sheet and then wait 5-10 minutes before printing the next. If the labels come off of the cables easily, I will update my review, but for now I am pleasantly surprised - especially for the price difference between these and the higher end wrap-around labels.

When using a laser printer these labels stick to the backing and won’t peal off properly. I am using it properly and I spent a lot of time entering cable data only to discover these labels lift the backing with the label. I have tried 3 laser printers, so that’s not the issue. Used tweezers and sharp knife tip, to no avail. I tried the whole pack, and none of them would peal. I cannot recommend these labels because of this issue. A lot of waisted time.

Great labels for the price.

I liked the entire concept, especially being able to print out legible labels for power cords, USB cables, Ethernet cables, etc. However, after a few days to a week, the edge of the laminating part started to peel up slightly. This was easily and quickly remedied by placing a small piece of cellophane tape over the label. However, if I have to place cellophane tape over my labels I could have just used regular labels to start with and put tape on them. Thus, these are less of a time saver than I had expected, but the color coding is nice. PRO TIP: Black printing on the red labels is pretty much unreadable without a flash light.

I'm impressed. Labels are running through a xerox printer, using manual feed of printer. Have only feed one sheet at a time. Took some test runs aligning rows and columns using excel. Labels did not peel when going through printer. I would not try running sheet twice. Label width is decent. It would be nice if they made a double wide label also. Recommended.

Labels work great! I received them after only 3 days. Downloaded template. Worked fine with MS Office. Everything lined up correctly. Characters were just too small for me to read. I increased font size until I could read it easily. I just had to reduce the number of characters. I love them.

Template is rubbish, make sure you peel off the redundant part of the sheet(the skin around the actual labels) before you print

Si lo que buscas es etiquetar tus cables, no las recomiendo en lo absoluto, el proceso de impresión es un caos, tienes que realizar un montos de pruebas con Word, Excel o con programas para etiquetado, su pegamento no es permanente así que los pones y al ratito ya están despegándose, no las recomiendo porque el etiquetar cables debe ser perfecto, rápido y seguro.

Great price for these. Have used a different brand professionally for years which are lot more expensive for the same thing. These are great.
