Andonstar ADSM302 Industrial Maintenance Digital Display Electronic Microscope Magnifier with Remote Control

I had many concerns ordering this Microscope. Would the built in screen be of decent resolution?, would the lighting work well?, would the adjustments on the scope itself and on the mount be tight or sloppy? I am REALLY impressed. The adjustments are all tight and very easy to use, the lighting works quite well, the on board screen resolution is AMAZING, can not wait to hook it up to a nice HD monitor. Using the on board monitor I can not see any latency when moving the PCB or any tools in the field of view. I am hoping that the monitor will also experience little to no latency as well. There is plenty of work space between the bottom of the lens and the item I am viewing. I am highly impressed. A fantastic value for the money.

The good is that scope is great overall. It serves its purpose well and has very good quality image output.No need for drivers.Works with any webcam application.HDMI outputThe bad:Long USB cord will prevent you from using this scope with your PC.Most laptop will not provide enough current output from USB port to power this microscope enough to show video signal on the computer screen. The Built in LCD will work, but image on the computer screen will not.With that said, it is best to use "powered" USB hub. That way enough current will be delivered to the scope.HDMI output always shows camera icon on the left. No way to remove it as far as i understand.Provided HDMI cable is short, 5 feet or so. Not enough for working conditions.LED lights placed too far back. If they were longer, it would not be the issue.Wire management is not very good. Too many wires dangling allover the place causing some problems at the work desk.If you decide to wire this microscope to a 9v battery using voltage regulators, it wont work for more then 30 minutes. It draws allot of power so that explains why USB problem exists.Otherwise great product, i absolutely love it.
