This is my 3rd coffee grinder in 7 years. This one is nice because its not as loud as the first one. Its smaller and its easy to clean.

Worked great the one time that I used it but don’t drink a lot of coffee so it has been about a month since I used it and now it won’t come on. I tried several outlets in my kitchen and other appliances work but this one simply won’t come on. I took it apart and cleaned it thinking maybe it had a coffee bean stuck and still can’t get it to come on. Not pleased with this at all and of course since it’s been past a month I can’t return it.

Out of the box, this grinder performs beautifully with easy to use controls for setting the fineness of the grind and the duration time of grinding. I found that the 10 second setting is just about perfect for filling up my 51mm espresso portafilter for a double-shot. The grinder is far quieter than the two Cuisinart grinders I have (I have a serious coffee habit - one for decaf (drip), one for regular (drip), and now, this little grinder for my espresso grind.And - it's true, this grinder - with the built-in ionizer - really does grind the coffee into the plastic receptacle bin without the grounds becoming charged and sticking to the sides of the bin. In fact, the bin is easy to empty because the grounds aren't charged, and the walls of the bin were *clean* of grounds after the first grind. Amazing.

Just received this coffee grinder today. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. The condition of this grinder is great out of the box. The only problem I see so far is the “air cleaning device”. It is a black rubber flange that fits into the mouth of the bean hopper and is used to blow the ground coffee into the grounds container. It is deformed and the bean hopper lid does not fit well into the air cleaning device. I can’t seem to find anyone to contact about getting a new air cleaning device. If I am unable to get a replacement I will return the grinder. If I do get a new air cleaning device, I will consider changing my review. UPDATE 8/29/25: I was able to chat with a rep about this problem. At first, the rep would not consider my request for a replacement of the "air cleaning device" because I didn't purchase the grinder from their store. However, after I pointed out that even though it wasn't from their store, it was their product. The rep got back to me and said they would send a replacement and it would take about 10 to 15 days. I will give this item one more star based on that promise. I did use the grinder this morning and it worked fine. Stay tuned... UPDATE: 9/10/25 I received the replacement "air cleaning device" as promised. I have used the grinder about 4 times now with no issues at all. I did not expect the customer service to be this good, but it was great. I would recommend this grinder.

I started out loving this grinder, but after one week, I experienced the same problem that some other customers have reported. It would work sporadically, and usually I would have to press the button anywhere from 10 to 43 times (yes, I counted) to get it to work. It would "lurch" occasionally as if it were going to start without actually beginning to grind. Because I loved the design of the grinder, I emailed the manufacturer to report my problems. They responded immediately, replacing my grinder. (They did not ask me to return the first one. I guess there would be no point, as it stopped working.) The second grinder I received has worked flawlessly. I took off one star as the first unit failed after one week, and it has been only one month of using the second one, and I'm not entirely convinced of the longevity. There might be a quality control issue in the manufacturing process, but as of this point with my second grinder, I could not be happier. I was very impressed with customer service, and it was a good decision to go directly to the manufacturer, who resolved the entire issue within 48 hours (including the new grinder), rather than simply returning the unit to Amazon. I'm hoping to get at least a couple of years out of this grinder. (The last electric grinder I purchased, from a different manufacturer, lasted many years.) If anything changes, I will update my review.
