I recently switched to Clover crochet hooks after experiencing pain around the pinky-side knuckle of my hand, and the difference has been remarkable.I had previously been using ergonomic hooks with thicker, longer handles, but as someone with smaller hands, I found that design actually made things worse. The length and bulk of the handle forced me to stabilise the hook using my pinky finger, which led to noticeable pain and strain after crocheting.With the Clover hooks, everything changed. The handle is shorter and flatter, which naturally fits my hand much better. I no longer feel the need to grip tightly or support the hook with my pinky. Light weight and easy to hold. Glides through yarn nicely. The plastic handle does not separate from the metal hook. I would recommend this product.

Why is a 3.75mm hook not included in any of the crochet hook sets I've bought! This is so frustrating as sometimes it just has to be that size for the yarn I'm working with.Hooks can also be expensive to buy individually but I needed this one so bit the bullet.It's just arrived so I've worked a little swatch just to get the feel of the hook. I've not worked with a flat handle before but this is quite comfortable. It's very light and easy to use and the yarn just glides over the metal end. My only criticism is that it's a bit shorter than my other hooks, and even the other Clovers I have, but they're a different design – Amour – which have the heavier, rounded handle. Unfortunately the only one of this size was more than twice the price, which I'm not prepared to pay at the moment.A good quality hook at a competitive price.

These are my absolute favourite brand of crochet hook. I have tried many types and the soft touch ones are by far the best for grip, comfort and smoothness.The smoothness is fantastic, perfect for working with cotton or fashion yarns that can be a bit rough and difficult to slide off easily.The best bit about these is the comfort. I do a lot of crochet, and can work on some very large projects. This can be painful for me as I have a pain condition as well as Raynauds in my hands. This is why I bought my first one of these hooks (this one is a replacement as I lost my other 4mm one, I also have a range of other sizes in this brand)Despite the difficulties with my hands, using this brand/type of hook means I can go on for longer before it becomes too painful for me. You grip on to these more gently so it doesn't affect your circulation so badly. I imagine this brand would be good for sufferers of arthritis as my condition is similar to this.Fantastic and well worth the money.

This hook is lovely and the hook shaft looks and feels just like the hooks from their Amour Hooks. The handle is a little shorter than those same hooks also wider. So it's all down to what you prefer. I have very small hands so it was comfortable to hold, but if you have bigger hands than me, i can see you may require a bigger handle than this hook has. It has almost a brushed metal, very smooth shaft and smoothly glides with yarn. Love the Clover hooks. Always pleasant to Crochet with and makes any project a breeze.

This is my first Clover crochet hook. I've always just used ordinary steel hooks but owing to a sore thumb I thought I would give a clover hook a try just to see if it would ease my hand. Wow what a difference, crocheting is much easier and speedier, I'm amazed what a difference a different tool makes. I'm sold and will asking for a full set when my birthday comes around.

I’ve used several different brands but this one is by far the best for me. Just be sure it is the brand Clover. Some duplicates are out there that look identical but aren’t clover. There is a slight difference between them. I find Clover ones glide better with the yarn.

Clover products are generally good quality and this one is too.
