While the switch and triggers do wear out, we've never had a switch fall out. That's a new one.

What is the difference between the 1600 & 1800? they both go down to 30ga, is the 1800 better if i'm working with lighter ga?

1800 Does 30ga up to 18ga feels a little light in your hand. The 1600 does up to 16ga. Little more heavy duty.

How many cfm of air is required at 90 psi?

At 90 PSI this hammer uses 15 CFM, Well built , durable, handles the jobs
