Reliable Glass Baster Thatโs Built to Last
I finally got tired of plastic basters melting or cracking, so I switched to this Norpro glass one. The heat-resistant glass is thick and sturdy, which makes it much safer to use with boiling pan drippings straight out of the oven. It feels high-quality and way more professional than the cheap nylon versions Iโve used before. The suction on the bulb is excellent. It picks up a full 2 ounces without any leaking or dripping, so it actually gets the liquid onto the meat rather than all over the stovetop. I also love that the glass doesn't stain or hold onto smells from heavy marinades or garlic. Cleanup is the best part since itโs truly dishwasher safe. I just pop the bulb off and put the glass tube in the top rack, and it comes out perfectly clear every time. If you want a kitchen tool that won't warp and is easy to keep clean, this is a great choice. Itโs a simple, effective upgrade for any home cook.

It'll do - glass is a plus
Much better than the plastic ones. Minimal dribbles. Nice, easy to clean glass! Hooray! Used on super hot grease today and it worked fine - if you angle it right, dribbles are minimal. Having measurements printed on it would have been nice.

better than plastic
perfect for turkey basting. adequate suction. better than plastic. Bulb stays on when suctioning which the plastic basters have a problem with. good quality. Suction not as good as my 30 year old glass baster that wouldn't work anymore because the rubber bulb finally rotted out. Bought a cheap plastic one ( the only thing the grocery store had) and i wasted my money. threw it out. bought this one, paid more but got a really nice baster.

I bought this to tranfer fuel and other mechanical fluids. Great product. Works as it should with great suction.

Looks good. Glass tip broke off at first use.
As described but the glass tip is fragile and the first time I used it it broke off, uneveningly.
