How much lag time is there, if any, in the controls after installing this (compared to OEM)? And does anyone know if that is Head Unit dependent?

When it works there is no lag time what so ever, it works like one. I've had several issues with the unit itself but like I said when it works, it's awesome. I'm not sure if there could be a lag time depending on HU used.
