Well, it does take pictures. Good pictures I might add. And it is simple to set up. Yes, this is true. A simple camera for simpler times indeed. So why the half-*ssed three star review? You cannot adjust the time between pictures, and this is a big flaw indeed. If you have one critter in front of this thing for any length of time you get hundreds of pix....and I don't need this. Other than that its fine for the price. I thought about sending it back, but I am usually able to get to the chip on a semi-regular basis so it shouldn't fill up with Schmutz.CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Camera looks great and all but just checked camera after putting it out. To find out it took pics first 4 days and then stopped on on. Batteries still good. Proximity sensor seems to be messed up. Run hand in front and can make it take pic but if you walk in front doesnt take pic at 10 plus feet no matter how many times I tried.

I have the camera taking awesome pictures of deer birds groundhog in the back great camera and video recorder for the price well worth it

This game camera is OK for the price. HOWEVER, like all WIldgame Innovations Cameras, the bottom drops down to give access to the controls and SD memory card. Even if it is secured by a cable lock, there is no way to secure the memory card. Thieves simply steal the memory card, and all your hard work is gone.I'm going to move on to another brand.Update: After the initial week test, I put it out on an important location for 6 weeks. What I found is that the trigger speed is EXTREMELY SLOW! I was missing all sorts of shots, and most important, I was missing the objects of my study. So sorry I wasted my money on this one.

The first one arrived DOA. The manufacturer's tech support was terrible and unresponsive. I gave up and returned the item for an exchange. Kudos to Amazon for making that easy and painless. Hopefully the second one will arrive in good working order.

I have purchased the twin pack. Both camera's do not work. I have tried new SD cards the cameras are junk. I have five other cameras its not the user. How do I return these camera? I have had them for about 8 weeks in the woods. NOT one picture on either camera. Hunted the stand this morning for the first time saw seven deer, four walked by the camera no pictures.

This camera I use for security. Ended up placing it in a spot that I only need 35 feet distance, that's about as far as it triggers. The picture quality is pretty good, battery life excellent. Batteries last a couple months or more. I wouldn't buy another one because of the short range and trigger is a bit slower than my other 2 Trail Cams. If you don't need 50 foot range it's ok. Very simple to use.

There is an LCD SCREEN that shows... well.... everything that you need to know. Like battery life. Camera settings. If its ON or OFF. Etc.Mine doesnt work. So I just have a red light that occasionally flashes, and 4 mysterious buttons.I contacted support. So hopefully they can help me fix it. OR send a new one.Review will change depending on outcome.Thanks!
