This book is a step closer to making you successful. Loved all the examples and illustrations made to help you cultivate a positive mindset and how to overcome any negative emotions.

This is an excellent book by Jospeh Murphy. Those of us suffering from low self esteem and low self worth need to read and re read this book several times to digest its contents. Keep a copy handy at all times and read periodically during the day when you have the time. This book will give you inspiration, solace, confidence and an overall better understanding of how you can improve your thinking thus making a difference in your outlook of life and the life of those around you especially family members. It has certainly made a big difference in my life. Ofcourse change in thinking takes time and you need to persevere with it, but take my word for it, you will not be sorry.One of the best self help books I have read among a few others that I will always refer to.

This book is PHENOMENAL!!!! The power of the HEART aligned with the images of the mind is REAL and is the the consciousness, the Spirit of the creator in us to bring into fruition what we truly FEEL and imagine. Fear and Hopelessness is not from or of the creator. It is a program to be forgiven and transcended to awaken to our Infinite, Immortal and GOD essence!

I enjoyed many of the aspects of the book, especially the positive affirmations that can impact your self conscience which can manifest into happiness. I did feel a New Age twist or theme even though God and Jesus are referenced. I still do not know what scientific prayer is. Overall it was a good read, very inspiring, and the point of view is helpful, especially in this day and age.

Read this at the Grand Canyon! Fun insights to open your mind to new ideas. The paper is satisfying to the touch and doesn't have too many pages. Believe in yourself is written intelligently so it's easy to comprehend and is designed to have plenty of space for personal footnotes. The font is large making it easy to read.

Very inspirational book....I bought this for my son who was battling heroin addiction at the time. He is a very handsome man, 27 yrs old, 6'' 4" blond hair, dark skin and big blue eyes with long black eyelashes.....he turns the head of all the girls since he was 14........but still he suffered a very low-self esteem and a self defeating behavior. He was in jail at the time serving 90 days for possession of marijuana and so I thought this would be an excellent time for God to get his attention so I bought him three books, " Jesus Calling" daily devotional, "Self-defeating Behaviors", in this book . And so he began reading these books, he had no distractions and nothing but time, quiet time it that is, on his hands These books gave my son hope, helped him to target where his self defeating feelings spiraled from. This was 8 mos ago, today he is clean and sober with the guidance of God, an NA program, and a very good support system. He refers back to this book and keeps it on his bedside table along with his bible and the other books...one day at a time he is learning to manage his life.........he is a complete different person and he says ; these books help to give him insight and guidance along with the tools to believe in himself again. I cannot express, coming from a Mothers heart❤️, how meaningful that is. I was on the verge of losing my son, I just could feel it, every time the phone rang or there was a knock at my door i had deep dread of answering it.....everyday I lived in fear of the day would come when my heart would truly break....every time I heard a siren I would call my son....it was very crippling to me...to see my son clean, bright eyed, with a smile on his face is so liberating for me. I bought a copy for myself and a few copies to pass along to others.

As someone who is well into their senior years one of my many reading interests are methods to develop your mind power and self-improvement techniques. Many years ago I had read several books related to the above themes and I recently purchased this brief 79 page soft cover book (Believe in yourself by Joseph Murphy) on Amazon. This book was originally published in 1955 making it 65 years old; however, since I was familiar with the author’s most famous best seller (The power of your subconscious mind) I decided to also read this particular book. In this volume the author focuses on the power of your imagination and also emphasizes taping into the subconscious mind and infinite intelligence. There are only three areas covered in this text: Make your dreams come true, the subconscious mind in business, and how to imagine success. I found this book somewhat interesting and informative, but consider it to be merely an introduction to author’s “The power of your subconscious mind.” Rating: 3 Stars. Joseph J. When I read the title, I thought I needed to believe in myself more so I bought it. This book is short and easily read in an afternoon. It basically gives you the formula for manifesting anything you want in life. That alone means it will bring you hope from just reading it and if you follow his advice, it will bring you more than hope. If you haven't achieved what you want in life, get this book and start learning how to!

Dr Joseph Murphy was a brilliant man, and one of the founders of the "new thought" movement. He somehow never got the accolades of other writers in the same subject, and this was always a mystery to me. For me, nobody has ever written about was is now called " the law of attraction " so accurately and simple as Dr Murphy. There is always passion and love for his subject in every sentence he writes. He could win over any sceptic of the subject with blinding knowledge and obvious belief in his message. This book is short but beautiful. Many writers take 3/4 times the amount of pages to Express the same message, however Dr Murphy could educate in a very reader friendly way, on a sometimes difficult subject, in his own simple yet very effective style. Not many writers have this talent. If you are interested in understanding the subject of manafistation, subconscious thinking or infinite intelligence on a deeper yet more simplistic level, buy this book.

I have yet to read a book by Joseph Murphy that I didn't enjoy, including this one. 😂 Timeless advice for people of all ages seeking answers on how to live successful, genuine, prosperous and happier lives. His message is still relevant today and has successfully stood the test of time. The kind of book that I think should be added to high school reading lists too, providing young people valuable life lessons, unlike some of the "junk" they are now expected to read.
