Serves the purpose, although not too comfortable to feel, my little asthmatic daughter hasn't wheezed because of the pillow dust in a while, so great.. although the plastiky feel is a little uncomfortable in the summertime

Label says 100% polyester. I tested it and indeed itโs totally not waterproof. Too bad I have already washed it otherwise I would have returned it
