Great Cuisinart customer support. Upon receiving my new pot I proceeded to give it a quick rinse. Imagine my surprise at see black flakes floating around in the pot. Yes, the nonstick lining was flaking off at just being rinsed. I quickly requested a refund from Amazon. What I saw next really impressed me. It was an offer from Cuisinart to make it right. Wow! In the past 20 yrs with Amazon I never had a manufacturer offer to ‘make it right’. They offered to quickly replace the defected pot and reasonably requested I return the damaged one. I am sure they take pride in their products and want to know why the pot lining failed. This left me very impressed.

Just what I was hoping for - excellent quality, weight and size.

Good quality… sturdy

I had just moved and needed new cookware. The furnished pots and pans were in poor condition. It wasn’t long before I found this little pot. A nice clean design that boasted quality for a price. It came quickly and was well packaged. I have had no issues with using or cleaning it. Small and efficient. Great for steaming vegetables or cooking sauces in the background, while you focus on preparing the main dish. I have had mine for about a month and have yet to see any wear/tear. I recommend it!

I used a metal spoon which scratched non stick surface and replace when this happens. Had used this pot without issue for some time. It is a really good quality pot. I’ve used this size for years. It is my third one. The glass lid is nice to monitor cooking.

Well-constructed saucepan with black non-stick surface, has served me well after months of daily cooking over range of different temperatures and contents. The non-stick surface allows for cooking notoriously sticky foods like eggs, oatmeal and rice without oils or excess liquids, that can be transferred cleanly to dishes (I suggest wiping the surface with oil to seal the pores before the new pan is first used, wash off with soapy water). Crusting or browning at the bottom during high heat cooking can be easily nudged off with silicone spatula/spoonula. Extensive cleaning not necessary, thus saves water. Uninsulated handle remains cool during cooking but the handle on the glass cover gets hot, so use a cloth or paper towel to grab it. One minor drawback is the transfer of smell after cooking salmon, presumably because the fish oil is adsorbed to the pores. Got another pan for cooking the innocuous foods, not unlike the need to segregate meat and dairy dishes. This is not a problem for me, but might be important if dietary restrictions apply.
