It's bigger than I expected, even after looking at the dimensions. I've included some images for scale - it's kinda big for my medium sized purse, which was the intended purpose. It would be great for travel though! I don't think it's flimsy, it seems decently well made and has held up in my daily crossbody purse for a couple weeks of abuse. This was thrown into a mailer with other items and no padding. I was worried it might be scratched/dented or broken some way. But it was fine! The green sparkly plastic exterior and the shiny, smooth latch are so pretty. It opens fully and closes securely, about the size of a book so it can go anywhere. So fun!
