Great product and very reasonably priced
I've had a slightly narrower one of these for a few years and I put a beating on it until the plastic clip broke. It's reasonably priced and works well for keeping stand up paddle boards in a short bed truck. I think it makes my truck look pretty cool, too. My only issue (and the reason it doesn't get 5 stars) is that the packaging of a disposable piece of cardboard with product name on it was zip tied right through part of the product that is very visible, so now there's two visible holes in it. (See photo - above and to left of the word "Dakine") What the heck? It was totally unnecessary for them to do that.

Dakine makes great products! This pad holds two 12 foot boards with ease. The strap is long enough to easily go around both boards and hold them securely. One of the boards is several years old and weighs 41lbs so I was worried that the board would slide around but it remains right where you cinch it. I have also tried the Yakima Tailgate Surf Pad and while it was several inches wider, it rolled on the tailgate when sliding the boards in. The Dakine stays in place even when I'm tired after a long day of paddling and slide the 41lbs board in.

Secure transportation for 1 and up to 4 surfboards.
I love this surf pad for my truck (2011 Nissan Frontier). I use this daily and never have to worry about it. I can load up multiple boards and they're secure. I have easily hit 70 on the freeway and still happy to see me boards are still intact when I get to the beach.

Works great and looks really nice!
This tailgate pad works great for my 9โ2โ longboard. It keeps my board very secure and never moves around on me. I drive a F-150 so this will work on fat tailgate. I highly recommended this!

Small but mighty
It is small, one board, but what I like is that it does NOT obstruct the reverse camera! Itโs perfect on my tundra. I donโt know how well/how long the straps will hold up that would be my only concern at this point is that they might tear from the seams if left in the sun over time
