To start, let me say this is a very heavy-duty set. The steel used for these tools is legit. It's one of the highest quality tool sets I have in the "ordinary" range (i.e. not some specialized $2000 tool set). Every piece is hefty, especially the outer sleeve. Basically a brick lol. The machining on these tools is very, very good. My photos showing the inner threads of one of the nuts demonstrates this. (Note: There's a bit of fuzz/dust inside the threads in that photo, but that's not part of the nut/threading. The threads themselves are immaculate, no burrs or marring.) And the finish is high-quality. The spread of collet sizes is generous and should work for most things I would run into, if not all. Actually using the kit is very easy. The instructions are right here on the product page and actually presented in an easy to understand format (rare on Amazon, in my experience). Once you do it once or twice, it will be second hand nature. It makes pin removal so much easier and less tedious. Saves my energy and my hands (which aren't what they used to be anyway). Last but not least... the case. It's high-quality as well, using a foam tray so every piece is well protected and stays exactly where it's supposed to go, even if you toss it around. No jumbled mess of tools here. I also appreciate the case is black... so many tool cases are red and I've literally had to start labeling all the red cases. Value wise, this is an expensive product, but it is worth every penny if you work with dowel pins frequently. The quality of the kit alone is worth the price. I cannot stress enough how solid these tools are. Say goodbye to the slide hammer crap. Hello easy mode! 6 stars from me (and I'm stingy).
