If you're a sun hat wearer, you know the importance of a cinch attached to the chin strap. Without it, your favorite hat could easily sail away in a good gust of wind. My wife and I both purchased hats we loved, but strangely neither came with a cinch. Long story longer, I stumbled on these in hopes our hats wouldn't leave us for a premature trip to the heavens. Happy to report, problem solved! These worked flawlessly ~ took seconds to install and spring tension does a great job keeping our chin straps locked tight when needed. All in all, well worth the small investment!

So far, I've managed to fit the drawstrings and draw-cords for four pairs of cargo pants from two different brands - two using pink, and two using black. The products I received all grip very strongly! The size of the (not-round) hole I found adequate, but challengingly snug where I'd decided I wanted to keep the nice thicker sewn doubled over ends of the drawstrings, if possible, and I managed to push/pull both through using a large long needle and needle-nose pliers. These will help keep those weak drawstrings from getting worn and failing from tying over and over, stressing the same area of the cloth (a longstanding issue with that brand, though the pants are sturdy and wonderful otherwise). The variety of colors available is already tempting me to order more sets.

I just opened the package to use them. They work really well. I am usually skeptical when anything comes with springs. I've had bad luck in the past but these look good so far! I guess we'll see how well they hold up, they seem pretty sturdy so far. I will update my review in a month and let you know.

These work nicely.The holes are large enough to get fairly large cords through, and the springs are strong enough to hold them.Good purchase; recommended.BTW I’ve been hiking for over 60 years, and have had a great deal of experience with these “beans” as we used to call them. These are as good as I’ve ever found, and that’s saying something.

I bought these to secure the drawstrings on mesh produce bags. They were easy to put on and seem to work well for this purpose. Should avoid having the string opening up and produce spilling out.

I use these on my stringers for my Pickleball's. They work great. Hold tight and don't come off so I'm very pleased. Also can be used for multiple other situations as well so I'm glad they come in a multi pack.

I purchased these for my trail shorts, not shoes. These work great. Super strong.

I used these for the draw strings on sweat pants. Much easier than tying knots.
