Great book when teaching animal adaptations! Kept students engaged and asking questions.

This book invites students to do their own investigation. Great style that is easy to emulate while going beyond traditional animal reports ie: famous people, historical places…. Plus it is a fun read with incredible illustrations.

This is a wonderful book for kids. Very fun to figure out why animals have certain colorations or features. Super well written but short and to the point.

I read this to my 6th graders as an introduction to a STEM activity, where they had to create new adaptations for an animal that had to move to a new biome. The book had a lot of interesting adaptations that sparked some creativity in my students brains.

We gave this as a gift. It looked to be very high quality, but I can't comment on how much kids liked/disliked the story.
