Dorman 911-115 PCV Diaphragm Repair Kit Compatible with Select BMW Models

The fit is perfect like original. The spring tension is very similar to the OE replaced. I used the same Spring that came with part. Apply silicon grease spray to enhance the life of membrane. The Cap fits well and is very easy DIY . The originila cap broke while removal, but I believe next time I could be more careful . After replacement , the effect was instant and the vibration went away. I also had engine stoppage at Red Light that went away after replacing the PCV.

Perfect replacement part at a great price. Take your time removing the engine pieces. The pictures go from removing the old part to replacing the new part. I used a smaller eyeglass screwdriver to remove the old part’s cap. The old rubber piece was completely torn - thus causing the “whistling/squealing” sound from the engine. Make sure the vent hole of the cap faces the same direction as the old. Don’t force the new cap on - line up the snaps then slowly snap into place. See pics for reference.

I had the howling/whistle noise on my 2015 bmw 320i. Replaced it with this product and no longer hear the noise. So far it's working. If you have the same model replacing it is simple, all you need is a flat head to remove the old one. Instructions provided.

This is the first and cheapest solution you can try. Don't take your car to and expensive noob mechanic who will say you need a PCV and it's going to cost $300 to fix it! Six plastic clips to remove the old one and you will probably brake some of them no matter how careful you are but since an exact fit new cap is included pop them with abandon because you have a new one in this kit. Quality is equal if not better then the original BMW.
