昔大好きだった理由が、大人になってわかった気がします。絵画のように芸術的。ストーリーがかわいい。ユーモアあり。哀愁もあって深みがあります。

独特の絵が楽しいです。 男女交互の読み聞かせ方も子供が飽きないためにも聞き取りにも有効な気がします。 そして物語はパリ、最初にフランス語の歌、次に英語で歌われていて２ヶ国語楽しめるのがいいですね。 特に誰でも知っているきらきら星が入っているのがいいです。 アレンジもよく歌が鳴るととても楽しそうに体を揺らしています。 ３ヶ国語を覚えさせようとかは思っていませんが幼稚園児でも何曲かの歌だけでも フランス語に触れさせられて良かったと思います。

パリの寄宿舎にすむ12人の女の子。 一番小さい子がマドレーヌ！ みんなで生活しているシーンもかわいいし、最後まで楽しく読めます。 韻を踏んだ英語も面白く、子供が何回読んでも飽きなそうです。 自分の子供が女の子だったら、ぜひ、買ってあげたい一冊ですね。 バックがパリの風景なので、パリが好きな人にはさらに楽しめると思います。

このテープは、男性と女性が交互に朗読を進めていくスタイルです。効果音は入っていませんが、優しい親しみやすい声なので、子供と楽しく聴く事ができました。 韻を踏んだ文章を楽しんで下さい。何度聞いても飽きません。 お話自体は短い文章なので、朗読はＡ面の半分くらいでおしまいです。 その後は、お話にちなんで動物の出てくる歌などが、フランス語、英語で入っています。（朗読をした方たちが引き続き歌っています。） これがとても楽しく、フランス語はあまり分からなくても、子供は一生懸命まねをして歌っています。「キラキラ星」も２カ国語で入っています。 なかなかフランス語の歌を聴く機会はないので、とてもお得だと思いました。 声優さん（俳優さん）たちの名前がわかったら、他の朗読も聴いてみたいです。

ペーパーバックで薄いのですが、絵の大きさは十分に大きいですし、コドモには十分だと思います。 ハードカバーばかりそろえていると高く尽くし、置き場所にも困りますが、これは内容も素晴らしい上に薄いので、シリーズでそろえました。 女の子をお持ちの方は特にお勧めです。

My 17mo love it and I love it too. The illustrations and the rhymes make it memorable.

Love it, one of my 15 month old twins is named Madeline because of these books/show when i was little. We had to have the board book, she loved listening to the story, looking at the pictures. I think its a beautiful board book good size, all the original artwork.

O livro é lindo, bem ilustrado e realmente um belo artigo para coleção. A história é simples e divertida. Mas a origem e os efeitos da obra são além do que aparece. Escrito por um Austríaco, no início da segunda guerra mundial, fala sobre a França e é considerado uma obra genuinamente americana. Inclusive recebendo prêmio clássico americano. O livro foi um sucesso pros americanos principalmente após a invasão da Alemanha na França. O livro foi adaptado a diversas mídias diferentes, estúdios diferentes. Além de diversas continuações escritas e destaque em um restaurante em Nova York.

Great pictures and verse, a good story, and some gentle humour too. I enjoy reading this book to my children. They talk about Madeline in their games as she is one of those rare fictional characters that feels more like a friend.
