Do i have to spray each coat of candy2.o with bleed checker and if so, how come it’s not sold in the kit

Accepted Answer

Yes it’s a good idea to use bleed checker on every coat when going over a base color. I have no clue what your intended use is to correctly answer. Candy 2.0 is a concentrate. There is a a ton of knowledge needed to correctly get results you want. Every project/job is different, so you need all the knowledge you can research to get the correct results. Sorry,  it’s not much help to your question.   I am not sure, but if you contact Spary gunners they may be able to answer your exact question. There are also many YouTube videos showing how to use Candy 2.0. Hope this helps a little.

Can this be used as a lacquer toner?

Yes and no… not spray can lacquer but you can use Alclad II lacquer as a carrier and some others. Mix up a couple drops with whatever type of lacquer and that will tell you immediately. Candy will clump up. Best bet is to use createx balancer (carrier) and another coat of balancer after you get desired color. Than spray lacquer clear for a great finish and shine. First coat of clear must be light and let dry to touch. One more medium coat. Let that dry 24 hours 600 wet or dry without going through clear! Two or three more good coats and you will have a beautiful finish. 2000 wet sand and hand buff for show quality. A lot of cross linking if you don’t spray a few samples. Createx is a great product used correctly!

Why does listing say pack of 12 should honor the listing?

It shows 12 bottles but you only get five bottles plus a cleaner. It is a way for them to make you buy more . I wish they would honor it but they don t. We fekl for it, also.

It says in the description Pack of 12, yet in another part they show 5 colors and the reducer. The 2nd pic shows 15 different colors. So which is it?

I'm sorry for any confusion. This listing is for the 5 color set with additive. The 2nd picture is showing all of the colors in the Candy2o lineup, and the title is stating a pack of 12, but that is referring to how many ounces are in the set. 6 bottles of 2oz. for 12 total ounces.
