FlagPole Buddy 2 inch Flagpole Mount 106201

If you have Starlink and an RV with a ladder, this mount is awesome. You can use an appropriately sized aluminum flagpole mast (lighter) with a Flagpole-Buddy Starlink adapter (additional cost) or do as I did and buy just the Starlink in-ground mounting tube (heavier) that requires no adapter. The Starlink tube fits perfectly into a groove in the bottom cup, which also has a hole underneath if you choose to route the cable through the tube. The top mount is a little wider than the tube so I added a small piece of 3/8" foam to snug it up. I did install the mounts a little differently (right side of ladder for easier roof access) than suggested in the instructions (left side). I also had to install the top mount a bit lower than suggested. As I have a pass-thru wide enough for both pieces of Starlink mast to remain attached, I secured the two together with a screw. The only thing I don't like is the plastic thumb-screw they give you for securing the bottom of the mast into the lower cup mount. I will eventually replace that with a metal thumb-screw.

Worked perfectly and constructed from first-class materials. Used on 1" RV ladder and harbor freight tools flag pole with bottom section removed so it was 2". Held starlink and TV antenna to ladder securely.

I've had this for about 4 months now and up in the high desert of CA we get some pretty strong winds.Your flagpole may break but I don't think this will. Easy to install.Very good quality parts and fasteners. I had to modify it because I attached a vinyl covered pole to the front of my RV for this to attach to so I needed longer screws because the pole is 1 3/8" around and this is made for 7/8"-1 1/8" rear ladders.So easy to put in and take out flagpole. Great design. If you want you can insert spacers in the top section to keep pole nice and snug. Only thing is I wished the set screw to hold the bottom of the flag pole had a larger end so it wouldn't cut into the rubber bottom of the pole.

Easy to put on my RV ladder and holds my 22 ft fiberglass pole with a 2” dia end.

there’s a review here stating a 2” pole will not fit properly - this is false. the butt mount is 2.25” inside diameter which is perfect for a true 2” flag pole as it allows tolerance for placement of a top heavy item. the upper mount is 2” inside diameter which is perfect to lock the flag pole securely in place. the packaging is easy open & minimal/recyclable. the product is quality plastic and looks durable. i’ll install mine in a couple weeks and will add further to this review. may 2019: have taken the pole in/out a few dozen times & no issues. i fully trust it & feel the only way i could break it would be abuse or accident. highly recommend & love flying my colors.

Want to keep my Starlink off the ground so I bought a flagpole and adaptor kit. But now I needed a flagpole holder so I bought this one. Wasn’t hard to install but was a little tricky hanging on the ladder and still needing both hands. If you are buying this for the 20’ telescoping Flagpole from Harbor Freight keep in mind it won’t fit as is. You have 2 options for it to fit. Option 1- Use the in ground cup that comes with the flagpole. I cut it in half and it fits over the base of this perfectly. This is the route I took. Option 2- Remove the bottom 2 sections of the flag pole. If you remove those the remaining sections fit perfectly. I felt the price of this was a little much for what it is, but I needed it and it works as it should.

Quick and easy to install. Takes a moment to get the right angle when installing the pole the first time, but it's still very quick set up once you have it installed and know what angle to tilt the pole.

I have a 1.5" flagpole buddy, I got this one to accommodate bigger flag poles that stand up better to the wind on this coast. It's a very handy way to install a flag pole on an RV that still makes it very easy for a person to take down when the wind gets going too much for my pole. It has never dropped a pole however I did have a pole break into 3 pieces and had to destroy a flag I had on it. So I gave it 5 stars because it didn't fail, my pole did and I did for not bringing the flag in on time!
