Very suitable for box springs or other alternative slat bases
I recently purchased a King sized IKEA bed with the slat bottoms but did not like the fact that you can see the slats underneath the mattress. Looking around, I figured I would give this a shot to see if I could cover them up. First thing to keep in mind is that this is a ring and has no top. It is only designed to wrap around the outside of the bed so there is nothing going across the entire top of the boxspring. With that in mind, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to fit it over the slats which are just slightly larger than a typical boxspring. It was a tight fix and I would not fault this skirt if the slats eventually rip through. But I have had it installed for several months now and it works like a charm. I can't see the slat base any longer. If I were to need one for a standard boxspring, I would have no qualms purchasing one of these again. For my alternative use case, It certainly fit the bill.

Was a little hard to get just right. After I finally got it situated, it has not moved at all. The material is soft and not see through which is nice. Definitely makes a bed look better

Quick and Easy fix
This is easy to put on, an transform old box spring to look new. It is also washable and would easily fit in a washing machine. Highly recommend if you can see your old dingy box spring.

Works on a Sleep Number bed base
I have a 2001 Sleep Number bed base that came with a white cover. I don’t like using a skirt, so I wanted something to cover up the white. I ordered this product in a queen size, color brown. It took two people to put it on, with one person holding a corner until the remaining three were covered. It’s a super tight fit, but it is just perfect for my purposes.
