Miscellaneous Storage Cabinet, Harmony Ash Finish

I had built a custom bench/storage for our mudroom to keep shoes and have a place to put them on. Shoes around our house multiply like weeds! I saw this rattan storage bin and instantly knew it would be a perfect fit This piece is not custom furniture, but for the price it is awesome!!! Pros: + Very cool and stylish rattan inserts + Beautiful Ash finish, making it a perfect addition to any entryway or hallway + I really like that the shelves are adjustable because we do have some boots + The open shelf at the bottom is a great place to store some additional baskets with shoe horns, shoe trees etc + One really thoughtful design are the slow-close hinges...steps it up a notch for sure in terms of safety! + It was super easy to put together. In fact, I put the entire cabinet together with a swiss army knife in less than a hour from start to finished and moved into place pretty much and it is solid (no wobble and well designed) + Also, it is SPACIOUS plenty of room for lots of shoes + Comes from a well respected brand and with a 5-year warranty!!! Cons: - None. Maybe a little pricey. Very happy with this. Highly recommend!

Purchased this as Urban Outfitters was drop shipping this for nearly 3X the price (and no free shipping). So we purchased directly from the manufacturer instead of UO. Got this almost completely together only to see that dude panel C is missing 8 of the pre-drilled holes that are required for assembly. This item requires a lot of assembly and the panels are taking over my tiny apartment until customer service opens and is hopefully able to send us a new part C. This item is cheap, so you get what you pay for, but quality control is lacking.

I like this cabinet overall, it’s solid and it does add style, but I’m not totally sold on its value for the price. The "Harmony Ash" finish is pretty and the rattan door panels give it a natural flair, which I liked when I first saw it. What disappointed me, though, is that the rattan detail isn’t quite what I expected from the photos... it’s thinner, and not as striking. It was fairly easy to assemble and the shelving is adjustable, which helps me stash all my dog supplies, but the material feels like standard engineered wood, which makes me wonder how well it’ll hold up long term. If the maker could swap out the rattan for textured glass, and use solid wood, I think it would raise the quality considerably. Its great if you want something decorative with function, but I find that its somewhat overpriced for basic storage using its current materials.

This piece is quite gorgeous and a little tedious to assemble. Because the parts are a bit heavy, I recommend using 2 people instead of 1 person to assemble. The price point is fair given the look and quality of the product. I haven't decided yet what I will use it for storage-wise, but in the meantime is certainly has elevated the design of my interior space.

I was able to assemble this myself is about 2 hours. There are hardly any scratched pieces, and the areas that were scuffed, couldn't be seen. This unit hold all my shoes as well as my husbands 14 pairs of shoes. The doors close quietly and there is the option to adjust the shelves to fit your needs.

The Sauder Miscellaneous Storage Cabinet is stunning, overall. Assembly was easy, instructions were clear, and I figured it out in around 45 minutes. The faux wood is well-made and it is actually quite heavy. You can tell up close, but you could also be fooled into thinking this was a pricy piece (although, it is a decent asking cost at around two-hundred.) The color is like hay and quite pretty. This is such a boho and modern or minimalist style. We are really enjoying it. We are using it for many things -- not shoes, but it would make an exceptional piece to hold shoes for a family. All of this and still only four stars? I cannot seem to tighten or loosen things just the right way -- enough to make the doors level to one another. I've worked on it a few times and there is still a slight difference, which is harsh, because it's the front-facing most seen part. I'm going to try again and I will return if I can make it work. (The small black seen right above the middle, highest point, is actually something on the wall, well-behind the cabinet. Note the height difference.

I am a big cheapskate so the price of this for me is a little beyond my regular budget. The quality is amazing and I really have enjoyed seeing it. Come together. The lattice on the front gives a coastal and casual vibe. The materials are solid and sturdy. I am planning this for my daughter's room for Her toys and shoes. It's fairly easy to put together however, the parts are very heavy. To get the box in the house, it took three of us. Overall really great deal for the size and function of this item. I am very pleased and would purchase this again.
