Eastern Feast - Grape Leaves in Brine, 32 oz (930g)

My jar had perfect leaves in them with varying sizes most of them large. Tasted amazing. Exactly what I was hoping for for a canned product. Decent price for the amount. It was packaged well but I did experience a little leakage. I'm assuming this happened during shipping because the box was dry. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and quality.

OMG, what was I thinking?!! I missed my picking fresh leaves 'window' & had a family picnic that I needed to bring our 'Lebanese version' of stuffed grape leaves to.... which never happened after sampling these before plating. These leaves are are all different sizes, super tough (evn when cooked too), and spine! The veins in the leaves are ridiculously spiney - to the point that you're pulling out more of the stem like veins than chewing or swallowing... Next yr I'll make sure to pick enough to even freeze them vs relying on jar leaves like these. The sizes of these are anything but consistent as well, but the ones that aren't torn or full of holes, are usually the smallest leaves I've ever seen- which also makes them a bit tough to roll bc there's so little there to work with! Sorry, but it is what it is...

It’s hard to find this where I live so this is a godsend. Tons of grape leaves per jar and the seal was still perfect when they arrived. No broken glass in shipping. They have long stems on the leaves but I found this to work to my advantage to separate the leaves. I will be buying this again the next time I make stuffed grape leaves.

I was making a meatloaf recipe that called for grape leaves in brine. The leaves are a nice size and most of them are whole and easy to handle without breaking them. My meatloaf recipe was a success

Many of the leaves were torn or with holes. Hard to make grape leaves with them.
