So... are this to use or not feasible to be used with magnets? Will the issue be the magnet or this Item?

Our version is non-magnetic. This is because Wurkin Stiffs holds a patent on magnetic collar stays.

These are quite functional and a good value. But wherever they’re made there isn’t much ferrous metal. At least that’s what my magnet tells me. They're not steel.

Has anyone noticed metallic coloration as a result of the metal used? i’m only used to stainless steel stays.

No I have not seen any discoloration. My son loves these stays. They make his shirts look so nice! I would highly recommend.
