The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. Idris Elba voices a red echidna with the intensity of a man reciting the Iliad while confused by a revolving door. It is cinema in its purest form. The Mustache: Jim Carrey’s facial hair occupies more screen space than the actual plot, and honestly? It deserves an Oscar. Warning: May cause an uncontrollable urge to narrate your own life in a deep, brooding warrior voice. Verdict: 10/10. It's a pretty good sequel to a great movie. Somehow they managed to do right by a beloved franchise twice. Someone in charge must actually care enough to make this work.

A true upgrade from the first movie (which was already so good)
Buy it! Don't stand on the fence like I did and buy this movie! I had watched this on theaters, and while I LOVED the Sonic 2 Movie, for reasons, I couldn't get it and kept on the fence about it. Big mistake. The first movie was great, but Sonic Movie 2 is soooo much better! So many nostalgia elements among good wholesome comedy, some drama and tension as well, and Jim Carrey just makes his version of Eggman/Dr. Robotnic so amazingly well, and improves upon his role on this second movie. ALL actors involved really just improve on their roles to a point that it is extremely enjoyable. Don't miss out on this movie!
