Flash Cards: Sight Words

I didn't expect that my son is going to do flashcards but turned out that he likes this cards with games.

Very useful

We use these sight word flash cards with our five year old who is in SK and they have worked great for practice. The words are clear and easy to read and the cards are simple to use without being distracting. Short practice sessions fit well into daily routines. The cards help build confidence with reading and word recognition and make learning feel manageable rather than overwhelming. They are sturdy enough for regular use and easy to organize or carry. Our child picked up words quickly and enjoys using them. Overall, a very helpful learning tool for early readers. I would recommend these flash cards for SK kids practicing sight words at home.

This is just amazing stuff. Great value!

El artículo llegó en buenas condiciones. Se lo pidieron a mi hija en el colegio y le ha funcionado muy bien.

I’ve been using the Scholastic Sight Words Flash Cards with my child as part of our homeschool routine, and they’ve made a noticeable difference in early reading confidence. The cards are simple, sturdy, and easy for small hands to handle. Each card clearly displays a high-frequency sight word, which helps keep focus on recognition rather than distraction. I like that the design is clean and not overly busy, which is important for beginning readers who can get overwhelmed easily. We’ve been using them daily in short practice sessions, and repetition with these cards has really helped my child start recognizing common words in books and simple sentences. It’s also easy to turn them into quick games—matching, flash drills, or even hiding them around the room for a more interactive activity. For homeschooling, they’re especially useful because they don’t require any setup or additional materials. You can just grab them and start a lesson in a few minutes, which is perfect for keeping learning consistent without burnout. If there’s any downside, it’s that they’re pretty basic—no extra activities included—but honestly that’s also part of their strength. They do one job and do it well. Overall, this is a solid, affordable resource for building early reading skills and a great addition to a homeschool phonics toolkit.

Excelente treino para crianças. Boa qualidade, só a caixa que poderia ser mais resistente, pois meu filho rasgou de primeira quando abriu!
