Petmate Kennel Bowl

This is a nice kennel bowl for water. It is easy to attach to the kennel. It stays in place and does not move around if bumped. The little cup on the outside is handy for refilling the water without having to open the kennel door. Just pour the water in the cup and the holes on the inside pour the water into the bowl.

It is deeper and bigger than most I could find here on Amazon. It can be filled outside of the door. My 2 lovely dogs travelled from USA to ireland, so I was really anxious about getting them a good water bowl. They had both the shallow, double one that clips on and one of these. I read the negative reviews about chewing. I prepped my pups by serving them their water in these instead of their usual dog water bowls for about a week and 1/2 prior to travel, My one dog is a total stress case, and neither of them chewed on their bowls. (He did go to town on his blankets!) Cons: You CANNOT freeze water in these as they will crack at the bottom. You can place icecubes in them, of course. The shallow dishes I COULD freeze, no problem. (Freezing for duration and spillage precautions). Hope that helps!

This bowl is very neat and easy to attach to the cage. Water can be poured in easily, but food is difficult to get in. It is deeper and larger than many other options available. My 65 pound golden retriever had a difficult time eating out of it because of the size, had to be coaxed, and she LOVES food and water. It is labeled for large dogs. If it were a bit wider it might be easier for her to get food out. Otherwise, good quality and stayed on the door through a 23 combined flight/car travel time (although the airline did not give the food as instructed).

I bought this one bc I loved that you could pour water into it from the outside, and it does not disappoint. Super quick and easy to install on the wired cage, solid and deep it's perfect in size, and one of the cheapest too, you cannot miss with this in cage water dish. Great design, I'm very pleased. Highly recommend!

Flimsy plastic. Will not stand up to abuse. Would consider putting this money toward a stainless version.

Easy attachment to my airline-compliant dog crate and no leaking when water was placed in the bowl. Dish is also durable but light.

Very cheaply made didn’t last one night my dog had broke ln it off the kennel and it came apart , very poor quality

I was expecting lower quality based on reviews but I am pleasantly surprised! It’s sturdy, easy to take on/off and works exactly how it’s supposed to. I loved the idea of being able to refill the water from the outside. We will be traveling with our cat internationally from Japan to the US in a few months. I am an over planner and was concerned with the need to open the kennel to replenish his water at our layovers. My fat cat Fabio would escape and cause a scene at every opportunity. This works exactly as designed where you can fill it up from the outside. There is also a lip on the inside to help keep the food and water from spilling. It’s nothing short of brilliant! Before purchasing I was worried by some reviews mentioning it was a faulty design and wouldn’t allow it to line up on wire kennels. When you first put it on it absolutely seems that way but after a second I noticed you install it with the wire going through the plastic bolt. It fits perfectly and makes the whole thing much more secure. I included pictures to make it more clear. Hopefully this helps someone who like me installed it incorrectly the first time. Es la primera vez que compro estos, pensé que eran más grandes pero al ponerlos en el kennel, quedaron muy bien. El kennel es mediano, asi que creo que la medida es lanecesaria, me gusta que les pueda servir agua a mis perros desde afuera sin que se salpque. Al final no los usé en el avión, no me permitió la aerolinea llevarlos dentro, pero sirvieron para entrenar a mis perros a estar dentro del kennel por más y más tiempo sin estresarse. Tal vez los ocupe como comedero de aves o algo parecido después. Realmente recomendado y se sujetan bien.

Unnecessary. I cannot imagine a use for this item, once we got it.

Great idea for dogs who spill their bowls in their crates time after time. Just a faff to take on and off to clean
