Tear Mender Vinyl Mender Clear Adhesive Patch

This Tear Mender Vinyl Mender worked like a charm. I have a relatively new waterproof outdoor furniture cover that got a huge snag in it. I was torn between replacing the cover (another $50 or so) or using some sort of repair kit. I read the reviews and took a chance. This Vinyl Mender tape was the ticket. I paid around $12 for the kit and got to work. First step was to clean the area to be repaired with alcohol wipes (included with kit). Next, cut the tape to fit the area to be repaired, making sure that the tape would cover the tear PLUS at least a 1” margin around all sides of the tear. Third, I had to peel the backing off the tape. This was by far the hardest step, so make sure you (or someone you know) has fingernails that can manage this part. Finally, the tape is placed over the tear, pressed down and smoothed over to remove any bubbles. And voila! The area is repaired, hardly noticeable thanks to this clear repair tape (more noticeable is the mildew on the cover itself - yikes). Bonus- I have enough tape leftover for future vinyl repairs!!!

When the vinyl seats of my 20yr old car started to show serious signs of wear, I bought this repair kit to fix a torn area. Wow is it good. It worked like a charm!! Love this stuff.

I have used this tape to repair damage to the leather parts of my suitcases that were damaged by airlines. It is very strong and adheres great (so be cautious / careful when applying because it will be hard to remove). There is not much per package, and i had to buy several more packs (the reason I gave 4🌟s, and not 5).

I was recovering a patio chair and sliced a strip about 5" long. At $26 I did not want to pitch that vinyl mesh fabric. So I repaired it. Looks great. I noticed today the sun does affect it.

I had a small 1" long tear in my seat and used a patch to close it up. Worked well for about 3 months before the patch split. Put a patch over that, a few months later that split. My bike is always covered when I'm not riding it so no UV degradation.

This works okay. I used it on a torn winter coat and it doesn’t stay on very well.

Great product

Actually worked quite well. Adhered very good and because of its clear color, very unnoticeable. Now we will see how long it says in place. Im pretty confident that it will stay in place for a long time. I followed the preparation guidelines and it worked well.

Didn't hold as planned, but still not bad. If the hole were tiny it probably would have been good
