These KitchenAid silicone mitts offer excellent heat protection, which is their best feature. I’ve handled heavy baking sheets and hot pans pulled from the oven and felt completely protected, even at higher temperatures.The ribbed silicone surface provides a secure grip, reducing the risk of drops. My only minor complaint is that they are a bit stiff initially, making detailed movements slightly awkward compared to traditional cloth mitts. However, they seem durable and easy to clean, and the blue color is pleasant. They certainly get the job done when safety is the priority.

These work just fine, but they are stiffer than the fabric mitts that got dirty enough to replace. I’ll probably find some new fabric mitts and replace these.
