Wedding Cakes

A really inspirational book we are baking and icing our wedding cake and have found this book to be of great value

iI was so excited to receive this book. As it happens my excitement was short lived. I bought this book from Hope Book Store on Amazon. I will never ever buy off them again. This is the US version with the UK version called Couture Wedding Cakes. I'm left with a cook book with measurements in cups, sticks of butter and oz. As a baker, I am so disapointed that I'm now going to have find a conversion table and have to write them all on this book and scribble all over it. Completely going to have my book ruined. The seller Hope Book Store failed to mention in description that is was US version. Blaming Amazon in the email. They were very unsympathetic and not very bothered. Book itself looks so informative, I'm pretty peeved now. I've more for doing with my time.

I love this phenomenal book, so much to learn and well explained

This is a wonderful book and the cakes are FANTASTIC. If you are a beginner you will be amazed, a if you are seasoned it will get you going and if you are a veteran you will be inspired. Mich is a talented cake designer and her talents are off the charts. I really enjoyed this book. The cakes are more for seasoned and veteran cake makers, however if you are a beginner don't be afraid of giving them a try.....maybe start on a smaller scale. It's a great book, love it.

This is very first of its own kind of book where not only you get elegant cake designs and recipes but also how to assemble tier cake and best way to portion it. It is based on concentrated but valuable practical projects. I definitely make a good use of it. Thanks
