Central Heating Water Circulation Pump

This pump is a direct replacement for Grunfoss pump, well made and easy to fit and was delivered ahead of scheduled delivery date. However about 3 days after fitting pump developed a high pitched whining sound which fortunately disappeared after about 2 weeks (possibly bedding in noise but did think i might have had to contact seller). Seems to be running ok now hardly any noise). Would purchase again if needed as overall good value for money.

This was a plug in replacement for a dead Grunfos pump. The pump is silent in operation and does the job. It’s about a third the price of the previous pump and I’ll definitely use Trident again. As a point of information at the lowest setting it pulls 55 watts vs 37 watts of the original pump but based on my usage here this is not an issue as it’ll still be cheaper over 15 years compared to the Grunfos equivalent!

About to move boiler and parts into new extension so was going to have a new pump as part of the move, however the old one died just before the move. Found this one but had my doubts but needed a pump quick so had to order. Fitted straight into the old pump slot, comes with a flex and quiet running. Inspected prior to installation to see why its so cheap, no issues found except for the years it will last, only the future can tell but for the money I think it's OK. It has a years warrenty like all the rest. The other pumps, known names, are about £160 upwards, which is a rip pff so I'm happy. PS - Always ensure you have inhibitor in your heating system and some form of magnetic filter to contain any small metal bits, the cleaner the water the longer the pump and boiler will last.

Purchased this pump to replace a pump that had failed on my central heating system. The delivery was fast the condition was good and instructions very clear, fitted this and it is running very quiet. Would recommend this for any one wanting to replace their pump. Price was very good compared to others of a similar specification.

I had my doubts that this would be a good replacement for a grundfos pump that had run dry during a water outage. However it was a like for like swap and new rubber seals are included. Easy to vent the air with the top screw and connect to electricity supply with similar clip fittings found on the grundfos. Once up and running it was quiet and does not leak. I used some LSX to ensure a good seal on the connectors. If you compare the grundfos price (approx £300) with this trident (approx £50) it makes you wonder why spend more. Grundfos are supposed to last 10-15years; trident have 6 year warranty. Even if you end up replacing the trident several times it's still works out a lot cheaper - if you do it yourself and dont have plumber labour charges. Well, we will see how things go - but for now it looks like trident are an economical and viable alternative.

El paquete me llegó muy rápido todo en perfectas condiciones con todos los accesorios el único problema es que cuando la pedí no me di cuenta que donde van los tubos enganchados son pequeños y los míos más largo pero añadiendo con unos más largos se soluciona. Todavía no la e probado cuando la ponga donde la otra bomba comentaré que tal va. Funciona muy bien la compré para la calefacción de casa y me a ido genial durante el invierno muy contenta con la compra

pourquoi la pompe n'est-elle pas livrée avec la prise de courant correspondant au pays de livraison ? la pompe n'est pas utilisable en l'état.....

La référence du diamètre des raccords était de 1"½ alors qu'il me fallait du 1"¼.
