The Spice Way Cardamom - 4 oz

The cardamom pods remain fresh, flavorful, and fragrant even after nearly a year thanks to the way they are packaged. I am very happy with the quality and the price, and continue to use the pods in my cooking.

Aroma and effectiveness is great! I bought for my Pho and it came out really great. Usually you add one Cardamom pod but I felt since these were green ones two would be most effective.

Very fresh Cardamom Pods and seeds. They have a strong flavor to them. I'm new to using these types of spices, but so far this brand is far better, fresh and tasteful than other brands of Cardamon. I I use them to make tea, but the uses are unlimited. I mix them with a few whole cloves, and grind them before each use by hand. I also use a fresh vanilla bean, split it in half and put it directly into the cup of hot water as the seeds steep. I recommend this brand The Spice Way and their Green Cardamom Pods and other spices.

I think the pods are fine and the price is reasonable. I am using the pods for dental health so I can't speak of using cardamon for any other purpose. I checked the interaction with the medicines I'm taking and just started chewing one pod a day. After chewing it for about 15 minutes I discard what is left and have nothing to eat or drink for 30 minutes. I'm hoping this will lessen the plaque buildup and improve my gum health. If you are thinking of doing this please check with your doctor and thoroughly research using it before.
