Great replacement part that arrived very quickly
It was great to be able to find replacement parts for door at Amazon. Price was comparable to buying from Anderson but arrived much quicker. Works well and was very easy to install.

Quick fix and easy to install.
Perfect fix for a broken door bracket; I just wish the original was a little stronger.

Perfect Fit, But Short Lifespan with Heavy Use
The Anderson Storm Door Closer Bracket is a great product that fits perfectly with my storm door. Installation was a breeze, and it securely holds the door closer in place, providing smooth and controlled door operation. The bracket is well-designed and matches the original hardware, which was a big plus for me. However, with heavy usage, Iโve noticed that the bracket only tends to last about one season before showing signs of wear and tear. In high-traffic areas where the door is used frequently, the bracket seems to lose its sturdiness over time. While itโs not a major issue for me, itโs something to keep in mind if you expect a longer lifespan from your hardware. Overall, this is a solid product that performs well, but if you have a door that gets a lot of use, you might need to replace it more frequently than expected. Still, given the ease of installation and perfect fit, I would recommend it.

Worked but I needed instructions from a video.
No tool guy here. But it worked. All parts were good. But there were no instructions. So I watched a video 'Replacing the Closer on Full-Lite Self-Storing Storm Doors | Andersen Windows' and all went well.

Anderson Storm Door Closure Parts
This was an exact fit for my storm door to make it properly close on its own. The original piece where the pivot pin inserts broke where it gets screwed into the wood framing. This was a simple fix, took less than two minutes to install. Just slide the piece into the mounted plate and screw in one screw. One thing to note though, as the door must take on alot of stress from opening and closing I feel this piece will break again over time. I wish the original piece was made out of a stronger metal because it did not hold up. My door was less than a year old and this piece still broke. Shipping was great, took only one day to arrive. Good Luck.

Closure hardware fit perfectly.
The original part was installed 8 years ago. It had been damaged and eventually broken during a wind storm. The new part arrived quickly, but we could not install it for a number of weeks due to very cold weather. All done now, and works perfectly.

not the same as the one a decade ago
Bought this to replace the old bracket that connected to the door frame. The bracket rusted out and broke. The bracket is not the same as the one that was made 15+ years ago. The holes line up pretty close but not exactly. This bracket uses 2 holes. The old one uses 4 holes. We'll see how well it lasts.
