Enjoy this build for the present, don’t resent a future you’ll never have based on old ideation
Fantastic set, durability is better than the 2016. Yes it is smaller. I believe this for most older sets it was always more work than it was worth to finesse mini figures into the larger spaces (like this sets smaller cargo bay). You’re either getting them in for the long haul or keeping them out, ya know to play with. The in and out function isn’t really a core enjoyment, minus the cockpit which is still easy to do. This is certainly the time to buy with Amazon’s fantastic pricing, might get a second to color swap for a Saw Gerrera version. Also the figures are great and would be a great basis for a Ghorman MOC.

Awesome Set - Larger than Anticipated
This was a gift and the kids loved it! As always with lego, the directions were straightforward and the kids enjoyed putting it together. All the pieced were there, labeled, and sealed as expected. It's larger than I thought it would be which was a nice perk. For those wondering about ages - a 7 and 10 year old put it together independently over a couple hours.

Nice set, good details and movable wings.
Very nice set, with the same good quality from Lego. The assembly was straightforward and there were no missing pieces on the box. It doesn't have any challenging steps as other sets. The wings are amazing, they can fold or extend depending on what you want. It comes with 4 minifigures.

It all started like ten years ago when my mom wanted to get me something for my birthday. So she gave me some money and told me to get something fun. So I did i got a starwars lego, " Slave I". Since then I have amassed quite a collection of Lego Starwars. This is the U-wing starfighter. Lego is a absolutely great company to get anything from. I love sitting down and putting a model of a ship together, its a great way to relax.
