Great tire at a great price! Update
Down here in Florida, we get a lot of rain this time of year. Not that I'm into riding in the rain but occasionally I do get caught in it. The Metzlers I have now are not very rain friendly but these Kenda tires are perfect on dry and wet surfaces. I cannot wait to get them mounted on my VTX 1300S! I "can" speak highly of them now though since I've installed a pair of Kenda Tires on my Vmax. Lots of traction with them and they are long wearing too with great grip on cornering. Update: been riding on these tires mow for over 1000 miles and like my Vmax, they handle great on dry or wet pavement. The dealers like these tires because of the amount of tread and pattern on them and they don't take any more or less weights when balancing if the Tech is skilled and experienced. As far as price vs a cheap tire? Big tire Companies advertise and whondo they pass the cost to? You! So, if you think paying more for a name brand tire is netter just remember the costbof advertising. These are great tires and more people should try them out for quality, longevity, price, and performance. I'm going to try a set of Kenda AT tires on my FJ when needed in the future. I highly recommend this tire for your bike.

Everything a tire should be!
Got this to replace the worn-out merzler 888 on my '06 Yamaha Roadliner, that had some BAD uneven wear...not sure if it was just a bad 888 or what, but it had worn thru to the belts in straps. So, wasn't keen on getting another 888. Stock tire size on roadliners are an oddball size and $$$ when you find them, so I went with a slightly lower profile( and substantially lower price ) tire here, and I'm LOVING this tire! Handles great, wear is great after 700 miles, stable as a rock...just a great tire. I've read that the Kendas use a harder rubber compound than other tire manufacturers for longevity (maybe, maybe not), but if it's true it doesn't seem to have any noticeable impact on grip. Now granted, this is an 800lb cruiser, not a sport bike, but for Myself it performs very well. I was expecting a little longer "break-in" period due to the harder compound, but 50-60mi later it's was nicely scrubbed and stable as a rock. I'd not hesitate to get another one when this one is worn out...it really is a GREAT price, and a GREAT tire! Well worth it, and I recommend Kenda tires to anybody who asks.

The best tire you can buy. And it's cheap. Rubber so hard, I got a flat and didn't even notice... 3 times!
I've used these on multiple motorcycles for about 10 years. Since I discovered them, I've never bought anything else. Except once I thought I'd try a Metzler Marathon just to see if a more expensive tire would outperform this one. That lasted barely more than half what the K673s do. This is the highest mileage tire I've found (lasts 9,000 miles on the back of my Goldwing, much longer on lighter bikes). It's on the lower end for price. Rolls smoothly without vibration, and the rubber is so hard, they actually work pretty well without being inflated! Seriously, I've gotten flats that I didn't even notice for days. This has happened multiple times on multiple bikes. I'd find myself thinking "my bike is handling a little differently" while I was halfway through my 20 mile commute. By the time I got home or to work, I'd forget anything was wrong. 3 or 4 days later (still riding the bike each day), I'd remember to check the tires and find one had zero psi. A little embarrassing, but the tires don't seem to notice much. That's pretty good peace of mind for me. Not that I recommend running them without air, but it isn't likely to leave you stranded either. Don't tell Kenda, but I would probably pay twice as much for these. The best motorcycle tire I've ever used. I've been riding for almost 25 years and in that time have put twice as many miles on motorcycles as I have in cars or trucks, including multiple road trips as far as 9,000 miles in 3 weeks.

Nice looking tire. Well functioning on my Sportster
Previous owner of the bike had put on a fatter tire, thinking it would look cool. Unfortunately, she chose form over function and the tire was rubbing against the drive belt. It would not have ended well. So, I moved from the fat 140 down to the stock size 130. I still think the profile on the Kenda looks really good. It's a tad narrower and the tire doesn't rub on anything. It seems to perform well too. Nice tire for the money!

I prefer traction over longevity
I have been a devout Dunlop customer for 30yrs. Last yr I went with a shinko 777 on the rear because Dunlop quit making the size for my bike. This yr I had to replace the front and Dunlop priced theirs to high so I went with the Kenda. It's comparitively inexpensive and since I mount and balance my own tires I saved some there. I am really impressed with this tire it mounted easy and balanced out fine. It holds the road really well as well as the dunlop. I spent a whole day in pouring down rain and it moved water like it had water pumps in it. Holding a hard curve like it was dry. It runs smooth as silk even at high speeds. Not sure what the wear is gonna be like I have 609 miles on it and still have mold hairs. There are some that wear longer but I'll trade longevity for traction every time. I recommend this tire. I trust it.

Looks like a great tire. Got it on the rim and it took 6 ,1/4 once weights to balance it. Haven't tried it on the road yet.

Rubber is very stiff, probably will last very long. Seems "slippery" on wet asphalt or concrete. But gets the job done.

I have not had it on long enough to give a true review, but it seems to be OK, switched from a Metzeller 140 to a Kenda Kruz 130, the 140 was too wide and was rubbing, the Kenda works great, Its is on the rear so it does not feel any different performance wise, if it were on the front, I might notice it more. I am 72 years old, and have 9 bikes, and ride all of them, so they all have a different feel when riding one, and I am not an aggressive rider, who would notice differences more than I would.
