Shipping issue.
The CD arrived cracked. I see that as a problem with Amazon and the way it had come in an envelope and not a box. Luckily, the CD works and have been enjoying it.

One of Van Hagar's best albums
Most people are either Hagar or Roth fans, personally I love the music from both. While Roth has his defining moments as frontman with having two of their first six albums reach "Diamond" status selling over 10 million copies, Van Halen & 1984. When the Red Rocker (Sammy Hagar) joined the band in 1985, releasing 5150 in 1986. The album hit number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, surpassing the band's previous album, 1984, which had peaked at number 2. Then came 0U812 released in 1988, a powerful album with great songs such as "Black and Blue" , "When it's Love" hitting #1 on the charts and "Finish What Ya Started" hitting #2 on the charts. Eddie floods the album with his usual speed metal guitar riffs. Every song on the album is a hit in my book. Van Halen with Hagar or Roth, in their prime, both produced some of the best rock & roll songs of all time. I've been a huge fan since seeing Van Halen back in 1982, the "Diver Down" tour, the display of Eddie's raw "F'N" power with Dave in his prime just blew me away. I've also had the pleasure of meeting Sammy Hagar at his bar in Cabo at one of his birthday bashes, what a class act he is. Yes I am a die hard Van Halen, Roth and Hagar fan. Check out a little sample video clip of Sammy Hagar live in 2017 I added, hope it loaded properly.

Oh, You Ate One Too?
I'm one of those crazy guys that like both singers, Roth and Hagar. Kind of like Ozzy or Dio in Black Sabbath, I love em both! So here is the thing with this album that sums it up with a number: 80's. You will find that great keyboard from the previous album as these guys turn more and more into a 80's band. But that's fine if you think about because didn't Eddie define the 80's with the keyboards in "Jump" anyway? Still, there is a lot of diversity on this album and I think the hardest and heaviest you are going to find is the opening track. If you are looking for a heavier album by these guys I suggest F.U.C.K., the very next album they made at the start of the 90's. But if you can rock to this then cheers! I don't know about you but I love this album, so stop looking out and start looking in, be your own best friend and listen to what you love the most!

Oh, You Ate One Too?
OU812 received mixed reviews, and still kind of does from Van Halen fans around the world. This album doesn't just focus on one set genre like some of the very early Roth albums, but more on 3 or 4 throughout the entire song list. As a guitarist and musician, this entire album has me frothing at the mouth. The sound is very Van Halen, with the chorus-ey, hard rocking tone coming from Eddie's guitar, Alex's blisteringly fast drumming on songs such as Source of Infection, Sammy's rough, high pitched vocals on the rock ballad When It's Love and Michael Anthony's amazingly talented bass playing. Finish What Ya Started is also another classic example of how Van Halen don't just acquire themselves to one genre, but this song mixes elements of country with the Van Halen style, and it works oh so well! All in all, the album is full of fantastic hits that deserve more praise from fellow fans, songs that some of you reading this might have never heard of, and i can say...if you haven't heard songs such as Cabo Wabo, A.F.U. Naturally Wired, Source of Infection and Sucker in a 3 Piece, then i suggest you pick this album up as these aren't available on any compilation albums. Its worth it just for those 4, but the whole album rocks!

Simplemente imprescindible solo por escuchar A Apolitic Blues A.F.U, Mine All Mine o When It's Love por nombrar algunas.
