We have had problems with ice blocking the down spout of the drain system causing water backup and damage. This heat has been installed through the drain to prevent any more problems with ice blockage. It is on a GFCI protected circuit with thermostat so we expect to get many years of service.

Easy to strip ends for connections.

Bought this for wiring 12v accessories in my car. The cable is really pliable so it's easy to run through the car's trims. However, the description didn't state that the cable is copper clad aluminum(CCA) so 1 star subtracted. If you're looking to wire good quality speakers, I would recommend a solid stranded copper, not CCA. In my case, I used it for backup camera and switched power source so this cable was adequate. Another star taken away is the strands are very thin and soft, being aluminum core, so when it was clamped/screwed down to connectors some of the strands tend to work themselves out of the connector if the cable is moved around a lot. I had to solder the tips so that they won't cause shorts down the road.
