Great bit of kit! Works like a dream, very happy with it the only negative thing is that the leads could do with being a bit longer but other than that I would definitely recommend it

Has it's only little bag to keep it in, cable to charge is long, quite light, not had chance to use it yet but it's in my car just in case.

Value for money, starts a 3.2l diesel easily even when the battery is dead, easy to use

Bought as a backup, never got the chance to use it until a neighbour had car battery issues. Easy to use, great little device.

So far I have not had to use it so can't give it 5-stars. However, it arrived well packaged, the instructions are clear and it's a compact piece of kit.

The cynically discerning critic, inside of me, could find many reasons to rate this jump starter as a below-average product. After all, the 1500A claim is somewhat misleading and optimistic. And, this is so lightweight that almost anyonecan tell that there is not a lot of power here. However, the optimistic 'find a use case' side of me would counter the negatives with expctation setting, reality of usage, and alternative use case scenarios. Allow me to put across both sides, below. Cynical Me says -- I have ordinary power banks that weigh more than this jump starter. This set an immediate alarm bell ringing; how can something so light have such powerful claims of amperage? Slightly knowledgable in electronics, I knew that 1500A was a 'peak output' claim. PEAK power is delivered for only a fraction of a section. Peak power cannot be sustained. The amperage which matters is the starting amps, or cranking amps. This V5 from VTOMAN delivers 400A of starting/current current. For context, on a spring day with temperatures above 10C, this should be able to start a petrol car up to 3.0L with a recently low battery. Likewise with a diesel up to 2.0L, perhaps up to 3.0L assuming the batteries amperage is good and only needs a boost. However, on a cold winter morning at 0C or below, you are going to struggle to start a diesel with just 400 starting amps. There are workarounds, such as leaving the startyer connected fo a few minutes before cranking to allow for some charge to the battery before cranking. But, not everyone knows this and would just keep trying to crank. Setting themselves up for failure. Therefore, cycnical me would say this is best suited as an emergency back-up to another starter pack for smaller petrol engines only. Diesels are a big risk at low temperatures. Optimistic Me says -- When you look beyond the potential failures and critical power issues as a jump starter and you start to look at this as a backup of last resort for jump starting a small engine, shifting your use cases to a portable power bank for other USB devices, you see more mileage in using this. As a 6000 mAh power bank that can act as a jump starter in a pinch, this becomes much more verstaile. If, a little expensive. This does have functionality as a jump starter. You have to understand that the engine sizes the manufacturer quotes are in warmer weather. Cold weather is going to affect performance. The jump cables are extremely short, as seen in my images with the keyboard for scale. This creates more opportunitoies for accidental shorting. As a power bank, connectivbity is via USB-C for input only to charge, and a USB-A for outputting to USB devices. The 6000mAh storage is useful for a power bank, concerning for a jump starter as it will not sustain cranking for long. To be fair, it is easy to use. My question is why would you pay £40 for an over-optimistic power bank masquerading as a jump pack? I respect VTOMAN as a brand for really having a go at delivering useful, low-cost, electonic & electrical items. When they get it right, they get it very right. Sadly, this i not one of VTOMAN's best products and can only be rated as average.

Habe die Powerbank heute zum ersten mal im Einsatz gehabt. Batterie von unserem grossen Nissan Diesel war total leer durch eine längere Standzeit.Das Starten hat auf Anhieb geklappt. Das Gerät ist super verarbeitet und gut zu bedienen. Hat ganz schön Power. Ich lade auch regelmässig mein Smartohone und andere Dinge auf, damit der Akku immer wieder auf- und entladen wird.

I have used this on my 26 year old Mountaineer around 8 times already and it started it's dead battery every time. I'm low on money, so I can't just put out $150 for a new one just yet.

Works. We were broken down with a dead battery. We decided to try this product. I did call AAA and before they got there one hour,through VTOMAN started our van. Excellent..it didn't quick start because the vsn battery was dead..we just put it on and waited..right when we thought ok just take it off and waiting or AAA..my husband tried the key and walla it started. So happy we had this with us.We were able to cancel AAA. Worth every dollar we spent.
