Skull Shaver - Pitbull Gold PRO GX5 Head and face Shaver

Very comfortable to use. It leaves your head completely smooth — almost like Lord Voldemort level smooth. The finish is soft and clean, and it’s ideal for a quick 4–5 minute touch-up every day. If you let your hair grow for 4–5 days, it takes a bit more effort. It will require more time and you might feel a slight pull here and there. Nothing dramatic, but it definitely performs best with short, frequent maintenance rather than longer growth. Battery life is outstanding. I recharged it when it was still around 60% just because I felt like it — realistically, it could probably go a couple of months without needing a charge depending on usage. Honestly, one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. Cons: The only area that’s tricky is right under and around the ears. It’s hard to reach that tight space between the ear and the side of the head. I usually finish that small section with a regular razor just to clean it up. It’s a minor detail, but worth mentioning. Overall, highly recommended — especially if you shave your head regularly.

The four blade shaver head came broken for the attachment piece. I opened the box and the plastic piece fell off. Other than that everything else is in good condition. For shipments they should not attach the shaver heads to the shaver.

Provides a nice even shave. The ability to use it in the shower, with the charging opening covered by the provided cover, provides for versatility. The design makes comfortable to use and it’s surprisingly quiet. The attachments cover all your trimming needs.

This thing is legit. It took me less than 10 minutes to fully shave my head and clean up under my beard. Super smooth, no nicks, no irritation, and way faster than using clippers or a razor. It is clearly well designed. It fits nicely in the hand, feels balanced, and makes it easy to maneuver around the scalp. It is also surprisingly quiet while running. Cleanup is simple with a quick rinse and it is good to go. It even comes with a solid carry case, which makes it perfect for travel. I will definitely be bringing it on work trips to keep a close cut without packing a bunch of extra gear. If you stay on top of regular shaves, this makes it ridiculously easy to stay clean and sharp. 10/10. I would absolutely buy it again.

I had the Remington Balder Pro for a little over 4 years. It was not that great, but at the time, it was much less expensive than the other options (which there weren't many of). The Balder Pro caused bad irritation on the back of my neck, so I used a regular razor there instead. It also had issues with thicker hair (1 week growth), so I often used a razor on the side of my head around my ears. After looking at reviews for both products, I purchased both the Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold PRO GX5 and the Freebird FlexSeries Pro. The Skull Shaver is a little more expensive than the Freebird, but if you buy the separate case for the Freebird, the prices are almost the same. However, the Freebird does come with some trimmer accessories not available to the Skull Shaver, so it still wins in terms of value. I like the rinse stand that's available for the Skull Shaver, but that's a separate cost and doesn't impact value at all. Alternatively, the Freebird has what looks like a nice charging dock, though not useful for cleaning. Before shaving, I asked my wife for her opinion. She felt both shavers and inspected them. Her observation was that the concave design of the Skull Shaver didn't stick to the skin surface as well as the Freebird's flexible convex design, that becomes concave only when needed. I wanted a fair comparison between both, so I shaved one side of my head with each shaver. I prepped with Proraso shaving cream properly whipped, and applied with a silver-tip badger brush. After shaving, I asked my wife to inspect. Both shavers did well; much better than the Remington Balder Pro in either case. However, the Freebird gave a closer shave with less irritation. In either case, irritation was substantially less than the Remington, but the Freebird was noticeably better than the other two brands. One other big factor in this decision is that the Freebird build quality appears to be better. Neither shave head feels like the most amazing build quality, but the Skull Shaver blades fell off the shaver multiple times, or got stuck in the blade cover. I had no issues like that at all with the Freebird, or the Remington for that matter. If it weren't for that issue, I would give the Skull Shaver a higher rating, but as it is, I don't think I could recommend buying it. UPDATE: I gave both of the new head shavers another try. This time, I shaved my entire head with the Skull Shaver. It wasn't as close as I wanted it, even after multiple passes. So, I tried again with the Freebird, and got similar results. Not quite close enough. It appears the Balder Pro is more prone to irritation because it shaves closer than both of the others, and got my head to a much smoother shave. It seems if the pros of each of the 3 could be combined, I'd have a nice shaver. Needless to say, I'm a bit disappointed in all of them.

ive always relied on my lodger to finish off my hair with clippers after id got most of it..i decided to give the pitbull shaver a punt so i could shave my hair as and when i wanted. Well i was definately not disappointed..i shaved my head using the pitbull...it took around 5 mins and apart from a couple of spots it did a fantastic job..i just went over what i had missed and hey presto job done...still had 93% battery life which is insane !!! cleaning the unit was an absolute breeze...i tapped out most of the hair then ran the blades and just the part where the blades attach to the main unit under the tap...left both to dry then simply reassembled the unit..The shave....the shaving was incredibly easy to do and gave me a barely stubbled head all over...its a tad expensive but if you are looking for a brilliant easy to use shaver which does as well as you would get at the barbers you wont go wrong with this model...Quick update...ive shaved my head around 7 or 8 times now....battery still on 82% which again is insane ....Also forgot to mention....when i used to use the clippers there was always hair to hoover up off the carpet...now im constantly keeping my hair short using the Pitbull headshaver...a simple rinse of the blades under the tap...hair gone....job done!!! Im willing to bet im one of dozens of satisfied customers who...after shaving..constantly feel your head every hour or so thinking ....that did a great job!!!

Just a top shaver

Ottimo rasoio per la testa. All'inizio ero molto incerto sull'acquisto perché ho alcuni nei e una piccola escrescenza che con i rasoi "normali" puntualmente arrivo e non ho mai potuto rasarmi completamente a zero ma almeno 1mm usando il pettine regolabile. Con questo invece altro pianeta!! A parte la comodità d'uso, è veramente delicato. Passo tranquillamente sui piccoli nei rossi e il cicciolo maledetto senza problemi. Consigliato!
