It was a T-Mobile cell, I needed Virgin Mobile now Boost, returned yesterday

Better than my old unlocked j3 prime as wifi calling works and was a better price. Almost perfect save for a small chip in the power button about the size of a needlepoint. Works well and cosmetically is nearly perfect. Low price and functional so im happy.

I have had the phone for less that a month (19 days) and it was working okay until yesterday. I charged it overnight and when I woke up the next morning and turned it on, the phone would not recognize my sim card and would not register my network. I could not make phone calls or use my network data. I went to TMobile to get a new SIM card thinking that was the problem (as it was a little older) and even with the new card it would not work. I bought this phone as a replacement for a broken phone, and now I am essentially phone-less until I get another one. I thought I was safe as this is a new phone, not a refurb like I usually buy.

This phone was sufficient 7 years ago maybe. It is really just a hindrance now. The ARM processor is slow, the RAM is not enough, and about the only thing you can do to better it is to add more SDRAM which is just more room to suck, imo. I can't handle background processes well and has at times taken so long between ringing and allowing me to sign in and answer the call that the call drops. Sometimes I look at a black screen for like ten seconds straight of it trying to figure otu why on earth I might want to open my chrome browser, and it forgets and shuts off the screen. It's ridiculous. Poor maintenance? Viruses? No. I have cleaned this thing from the ground up. It is just a weak device for this era. I don't think it does a decent job of even supporting the native OS it ships with anymore so... buyer beware.
