Great product
I really like the GripSense (so the laser comes on when you grip the pistol for use, release pressure with your middle finger and then the laser is de-activated) which is something I really wanted. The laser is strong and it's easy to switch modes (laser only, laser + light, etc...) and easy to add-on / install (it's two screws). The index finger placement to activate if you don't turn on the GripSense is right where you'd want it. The main reason I got this is for the GripSense activation when I grab the pistol but I also turn it off when I want to activate it manually. One side note, I bought the holster "IWB Kydex Holster Custom Fit: Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm/.40 M2.0 S&W - with Integrated Laser - Inside Waistband Concealed Carry - Cover Mag-Button, Widened Entrance, No Wear, No Jitter" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FQQ9H5K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) because I thought this laser addition would still fit that holster - which it doesn't so get the laser first then look for a new holster. FYI

Great laser for the shield
Easy to install, fits great, looks like it it came new with the pistol. The green light is very bright and you can see it durning daylight which is great for range practice. Love the grip sense feature. The flashlight could be a little brighter, but it would be adequate at night in a dark room or hallway. All in all i would recommend this light for your shield.

Pleasantly surprised!
Ultimately the product and seller are fantastic. I will preface all this as saying it is not the product that I ordered or wanted, however the way everything was handled I couldn’t be happier. About the laser I received a red laser without a flashlight, what I ordered was a green laser with a flashlight. That being said the product installs beautifully and seems like it’s one with the gun. As for the supplier they were unable to fulfill my order and accidentally shipped me the wrong laser. They ended up refunding most of my purchase price and sold it to me for a very fair price. I recommend this product and the seller. I will have pictures posted later.

The batteries die overnight
The first one i ordered had a very loose battery door and broke when opening it. They sent a new one and I thought I was having bad luck with batteries because every set i had died really fast. I upgraded to expensive batteries and then tried rechargeable batteries. It seems that even when nothing touches the finger sensor the batteries drain overnight. This may as well be on a nerf gun because it is not reliable for home or self protection at all. In fact, it may be more dangerous if you are not thinking twice about which sites work or don't in a crucial moment. I really wanted to love this... Looks good and integrated. Problem, batteries are expensive when they need replacing every few days. Comes out to hundreds per year- battery door falls off in light handling so what would it be doing under lots of recoil and maneuvering. Would not even TRY to 3-gun with this unless you want embarrassment.

Total Badass besides the Light
Pros: Slim and fits perfect on my Shield Plus 9mm. Total Badass Cons: The light itself doesn’t seem bright enough. Hence the yellow tint...I put myself in the pitch black basement and used it. Dislike how you can’t see your Left and Right 45degree corners...Pretty scary !! But it’s a 9/10.

Great upgrade for the M&P Shield 9mm
I like how functional, durable, and inexpensive this product is compared to other Light/Laser combos. The only problem I faced since owning the product is that i have already needed to replace the batteries for it. I barely use the light as it is and expected the original batteries to last longer than 2 months. Also, when I first bought it, I turned off the gripsense to reduce batter consumption. Overall great product that has a strong laser and light. Recommend buying a set of replacement batteries.

Buy lots of batteries
I purchased this as an affordable option to a crimson trace. It is nice I love the flash light laser combo and how compact it is. It took a while to find a holster made for my firearm with this laser. My only complaint is battery life. If you buy the higher end energizer, Duracell etc. you will pay a minimum of $10 to put batteries in this thing. So far I have only had them last about 3 months with little to no use. I have this on my smaller 9 for home defense and it spends most of its time in a safe. I took it to the range once early on after installing and have carried it a few times. I quit carting it after the 3rd set of batteries in 4 months. I thought it could be my holster inadvertently pressing the side (on/off)button so after the second set of batteries I completely cut out both sides of my holster in the buttons area so nothing was touching it and still batteries went dead super fast. So third set it stayed in the lock box and was checked to make sure it wasn’t on regularly. Dead in less than 3 months. All that being said the company sent me a replacement battery door at no charge after the original fell of after less than a month. I do like this laser and want badly to love it but I will need to find a place to by batteries cheap in bulk.

Don't buy
The first time I installed it on the gun and inserted the batteries the case broke not the cover but the case I would not recommend it unless you want to use electric tape to hold the case on
