Beautiful and comfortable once assembled, But it took me hours to put together. The instructions are confusing, some pieces feel fragile, and the mattress is not included.

Great Murphy Bed. Easy to put together. Easy to open and close. Plenty of room for a 6 inch tri-fold memory foam mattress. I bought the full size model so it frees up lots of space in the guest bedroom. The pillows and sheets fit in the bottom drawer so they are there when you need them.

I bought this so we would have an extra bed when company comes. Having a small house, this is a good fit for us as it folds up when not in use. It wasn't too difficult to assemble, my wife built it by herself without too much difficulty. The instructions weren't great...just pictures with number/alphabet indicators, but were enough to get the job done. While it is relatively easy to open, the front door panel is a bit heavy, and it works best on a level floor. Over all a great product in usability and looks!

Lots of parts, but everything went together well for the most part. The latch that keeps it closed did not line up, so I had to drill new holes in a different location. Felt a little flimsy, but was on the low end of the market, so to be expected. What was not expected was a hinge breaking as I was raising the bed. Luckily, no one was on the bed and no one got hurt. Used regularly for about 2 weeks, did not come close to exceeding the weight rating. Only a single person ever on the bed at a time. Hinge just snapped with no warning. Sent message to seller and will give them the opportunity to send replacement parts. Will update this review pending their response.

I went back and forth on what score this is. It's a solid 3 in my opion, Here's why: Pros - Great design, fast ship, price, packaged well. Cons - Poor quality materials. What they call "engineered wood" and many describe it as being MDF. It is much lower quality wood called particle board. The Melamine I dought is true melamine. It is very thin and cheap. Some panels were diferent colors. There were a couple of big chuncks that were taken out. One looked like the manufacturer glued it back on. Really shoddy work. The drafting looks very nice and the english wording was good, but vaugue. There are a few thing in the instructions that were drawn backward from how they were drawn. One inaccuaracy occurs at the beginning, It was unclear how it went together, we followed the plans and they were wrong. I am falling asleed, so I may add on some pictures later.

Highly recommend if youre looking for a hidden bed that you can rely on. I spent the better part of 2 weeks looking at different options and this one was the one to beat. The bed came pretty quick after order and goodness were the boxes it came in HEAVY. Putting the bed together alone took about 2-3 hours and wasn't too difficult. I recommend getting everything in order before you get going cause there are a lot of parts. It is funny to show people because they never would guess that its a bed and looks just like a dresser in person. Unfolding it and storing it is easy but takes a little bit of strength. Just remember to read the instructions when you get it set up. That middle support is a huge deal. My dad slept on it when he came to visit and said it was really sturdy. One thing that i did notice was the slats for the foot are not very sturdy so just be sure to enter the bed from the sides not the bottom. We did end up putting plywood on the foot to give it a little more umph. Overall love this bed and how easy it is to set up. We have a 3" folding mattress so we are able to put our pillows and comforter in the main compartment and the sheets and throw blanket in the drawer on the bottom.

This ships in two packages and weighs about 200lbs with a reported max weight/capacity of 600lbs. It arrived several days ahead of schedule and on rainy Monday, I went ahead and assembled it. I have assembled several furniture items of all different sizes/shapes, this was the most labor intensive to date!!! It took about 6.5 hours total, including a break for lunch, the bathroom, to just rest my back, and to disassemble & reassemble a piece I realized I’d installed incorrectly. 1 of the drawer bottoms came damaged, but doesn’t impact usage so I didn’t contact the manufacturer. The pre-drilled holes on the flip top portion were too big or stripped so I had to use some larger screws that I had on hand to secure those pieces together, so I’d suggest having that available. There were a few other spaces that were wobbly during assembly that I used wood glue and a clamp on to create better stability. I purchased a 6” trifold mattress to accompany this and it fits perfectly. I also changed the knobs to better suit my style. If you can’t build this in the space where you intend to use it, make sure you have help because it cannot be moved by 1 person. I gave it 4 stars because it arrived quickly, looks great assembled, fits my space/aesthetic nicely, but also needed additional support (mentioned above) from my own arsenal to be 100% functional. I DO recommend this product if you’re handy and on the hunt for a murphy bed.
