Nice unit. Always check your specs.
This is a nice probe for the price. Couldn't find anything flaws on the case and was easy to add a male plug for ease of change out. Four stars until I see how long it holds up. I'll be using it in a lead melting pot. It was within tenths of a degree when tested against a known probe and worked well up to 600°f without being in liquid lead. Will do that later. I don't think there will be any problems there but it's ability to last when used in and hours long sessions sporadically will be the telling factor. The male/ female plug sets were purchased at the same time for this project.

It Works As Advertised
I can't complain when a sensor just works and this it does. I have my K type probe connected to an InkBird PID controller, replacing the stock one it came with. This thermocouple screwed right inside the existing 1/4" screw terminal in my pot and sealed up nicely when tightened. The temps read pretty darn accurately and the stainless finish on the thermocouple appears to be up to par. The braided cord on this probe is quite long and prone to nasty kinks, so be careful with it. All things considered I will absolutely buy this again if needed!

3/3 Possible Faulty Sensors
not sure if there is something wrong with my setup(tested everything and i cant find an issue) or faulty sensors. had 3 go bad in a week. had my last 1 of 3 sitting inside reading air temp for testing, it was stable at around 20c and about 48hrs later it started to fluctuate between 2C and -60C . measured resistance and it went bad. they seemed like high quality sensors, so if it was my fault they are a good choice. but as of now i cant keep buying these. for anyone interested i had these connected to a Click PLC with the RTD module.
