Royale Legend Pro Baitcasting Reel

I do a lot of research before I buy stuff. Lots of YouTube reviews, especially the use parts. I found that most people loved this reel. So, I bought one. I usually use a left handed reel. They were sold out. The reviews were so good, I bought a righty. I’ve used it two days now. I LOVE THIS REEL!! The first cast with a 3/4 oz weight was flawless! I bought 2 Shimano SLX XT reels a year and a half ago. Great reels. However, a bit finicky at times. Also, I didn’t mess with the breaks too much. I have backlash and overspin. The Royal Legend Pro is pretty much set it and forget it. I caught 4 Carp on it. From 3 to 6 pounds. Very smooth. No noise. Except for the drag clicker - I LOVE THE DRAG CLICKER!!! The drag is super smooth. There was no give in the reel. Very solid. It worked so well, I bought another one today!!!

I’ve never used a bait cast reel before. It was super easy to learn on this. I thought it was super smooth casting. I love the purple/blue color. I caught a bass on it right away. I would easily have given it a 5 star except the tension knob stopped working.

I am not one for writing reviews but this so deserves one. I have tried my husbands other bait-casting reels and every time it ends up with a nasty birds nest, which then requires him to fix the reel. This was a birthday present from him two weeks ago and I must say that this reel is AMAZING! It throws so smooth and it is comfortable in a females hand with very smooth action. We went fishing this past weekend and after getting the settings just right I was able to fish and enjoy it without making a major mess out of my line. It will still have small bird nests if you do not gently place your thumb on the fishing string before the lure hits the water but not like other reels. I highly recommend this reel to anyone wanting a bait-caster. Not to mention that the color is beautiful.

First off I received the reel with 2 days which is amazing! The reel has a premium look and feel for it’s price point. The reel is pretty smooth for a casting standpoint but I did have some issue casting lighter lures as far as some of more expensive reels. With heavier baits, it does really well and retrieves quickly. I defined recommended this reel for anglers looking for a quality product in the price range.

2nd one, awesome reel, I was hesitant at 1st on the higher gear ratio,as I prefer a 7.2-1 or 7.5-1 for all around multi task...but I have to say... I love it..it flat out cast and smooth as air
