Good apocalypse paper
Picture it: Vegas, 2020. An apocalypse is raging across the land. For some reason, idiots worldwide are hoarding paper towels and toilet paper thinking it will protect them from the plague. It's June, the great toilet paper scare is drawing to an end, but you still need to buy any toilet paper you can find or risk needing to use a tongue to clean up the messes usually associated with toilet paper. There is none to be found in town, but after three months Amazon is starting to stop with their price gouging and they finally have precious toilet paper! However, it's this really weird bamboo stuff. Normally, you wouldn't even think about wiping your backside with something made of bamboo, even if it claims to be silky soft, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I decided to give it a shot to keep from using actual bamboo on that sensitive part of my body. Not only is it actually soft, it's surprisingly strong! We've gone through the entire package and there wasn't a single finger popping through the paper to give you a little surprise while wiping. I honestly think I would buy this stuff again, but it's a little pricey for what you get (or maybe that was the aforementioned price gouging) so I probably won't buy it again until the next apocalypse.

A good substitute for Charmin' Strong
I spent hours reading the reviews on the many brands of bamboo TP here. I like the idea of toilet tissue that is made from an extremely renewable resource. I decided on this brand, and I'm so glad I did. It works really well! It has the texture of Charmin Strong, is absorbent, and relatively soft. As other reviewers said, it does not pill. It says it is 3 ply, but it seems more like 2 ply, but still strong. The rolls are smaller than Charmin super size, partly because they roll the paper more tightly! You get more paper and less air, that's it folks! I'm not sure how cost effective it is vs. commercial TP, but helping the environment is worth it to me. Give this one a try!

Yes, 3-Ply But Very Thin Layers - Still One Of The Better Ones
Update as of 1/30/2019: I have tried most bamboo toilet paper out there. I had previously avoided this one because of it's higher price, and the fact that reviewers though the quality had been declining. As available options dried up and prices rose, I decided to try this one. It is not bad at all. I can't speak for what it may have been like before, but from a regular bamboo TP user, this is one of the better ones out there. At first I thought this was not 3-Ply like the description states. On further examination (and after the company contacted me), it is 3-ply but the layers are very thin. That said, it is still a fairly strong, soft roll and is substantial in size compared to others like Caboo or Naturezway. In fact, one roll lasts a longer time compared to those other brands, at least for my needs. Caboo is a bit thicker and more absorbent, but is a smaller roll so it doesn't last as long. There is no perfect Bamboo TP out there. I rate this 3.5 stars, but had to round up since we can't choose half stars. I would have given it a solid 4 stars if the price were lower. At more than $1 per roll, that makes this one one of the pricier options. Still, I would buy it again if I could not find a lower priced comparable option and needed the TP.

Looks and feels thin, but feels very good
I hoped to find a TP that would reduce my use of tree-based TP. This 3-ply roll doesn't look or feel that way, but it performs well enough. Very nice, soft feel, and no dust are the best qualities of this TP. If you're looking for an environmentally friendly option, I think this is a solid product. My rating is 3 stars for two reasons. I've made the switch to using a bidet (I highly recommend it!), and the next step was to reduce my TP use, especially products made from trees. I find conventional TP still requires using several sheets to dry myself. Not as many as I used before having a bidet, but TP's flimsy nature didn't work well. This bamboo TP is absorbent, but it falls apart also. I'm not using any less TP. In fact, I use a couple more sheets than I do of the conventional TP. So, I'm saving a few trees, but I'm not benefiting from my experience or wallet. If you don't use a bidet and have the environment a priority for your decision, go for it. I like this TP for that situation. In my case, I'm going to look for a bamboo "towelette" that will make drying myself easier without as much effort or waste.

Fantastic product....now if it will just remain available!
This is a great product. Excellent texture and does everything you would want an ideal toilet paper to do. My only fear is that it will become unavailable as so many others have done. Why is it so hard to keep good bamboo toilet paper, at a decent price, in stock? It must be popular...but maybe there are more problems with supplying it than I can see??? I really hope this company makes it, is able to keep it's product available in the American market place, and that it is able to challenge the paper industry. Did you know that recycled paper toilet paper includes cash register receipts? Cash register receipts are the single largest source of BPA in our lives. That means that the people who are trying to save the environment with recycled TP are exposing themselves to large amounts of endocrine disruptors. Long term this can mean men growing breasts, belly fat and prostate cancer. Female children will tend to develop breasts early as well as get early periods. Also the tendency to develop belly fat. Belly fat is associated with all kinds of undesirable health conditions. In the long run, the expense of bamboo toilet paper is a deal. Don't believe me? Look it up!

LOVE this stuff!!!
Ok, so lots of positive feedback here, and I am also giving two thumbs up!! I use alot of 'earth friendly' products...but this is just awesome! The tissue isn't that fluffy quilted stuff (that also shreds easily). It is strong for what it needs to do, silky smooth texture and the softest of all the 'earth friendly' type of toilet tissues I have ever used...and the best part...NO COTTON LINT residue. I mean, none!! That alone would make me switch, but the fact it is all bamboo and is such a renewable resource and it is really soft...bonus!! It also dissolves fine once it is in the water. So amazing balance between strength and still being easily flushable. I have 3 boys and they all approve of the switch also! After going thru half a pack, I ordered 4 more packages! This needs to be on Auto Ship! :D

Donโt believe the hype, save your $!
After reading numerous reviews and being somewhat of a โI want the bestโ as an eco friendly alternative, I figured Iโd spend the extra $$ & hope this would be my new quilted northern ultra plush (I consider that the softest, however used to think cottenelle ultra plush was the best, and was raised on charmin ultra soft, but switched to quilted northern years back when the quality of the cottenelle had changed and was not soft as before. As most brands, despite how good a product might be they eventually tend to cut corners sooner or later, as thatโs whats seems to be the recent case with my go to tp, quilted northern ultra plush). I am not an eco friendly kinda person, I honestly bought this as a more pure and natural alternative. I tried another eco friendly brand a little while, back that was much better. I forget the name but itโs been unavailable for quite some time. It was pricey as well but it at least it was actually super soft and felt the three ply touch! Unlike this brand, which despite the name of silk n soft, it is anything but.... The run down- 1)the rolls arenโt large so Iโve had to replace them quite often, much more so then I would normally with my quilted northern or white cloud. Despite them being three ply they are really a low end two ply as u can see the plys are thin and thus, more paper is needed. This ends up canceling out the eco friendly process when you are using more tp then you wouldnโt normally be using when compared to the brand names mentioned already. 2) this is not silky or soft. This tp is honestly a step up from public restroom toilet paper, what Imagine angel soft would be (cheap 1 ply). Itโs not thick nor soft, but it does the job. It does absorb or whatnot in the area itโs supposed to-no problems there. 3) Perhaps the thing is dislike most about this brand of tp, is that it fails in all other aspects. Runny nose? Grab a tissue. Seriously, id have to take so many squares if I had a sniffle or a sneeze. This is irritating to sensitive skin. For men this not apply. But as a female, when removing makeup with my favorite cleanser etc, I typically tend to grab some toilet paper to gently wipe my makeup off as my process. This is an epic fail, Lint is all over my face, the paper gets stuck on my lashes, little pieces on my cheek, etc. Iโd use so much and still Iโd have issues with it coming off smoothly and quickly if I were to use premium toilet paper as Iโm used to, like charmin ultra soft or quilted northern ultra plush. I end up having to Remove it with a towel or washcloth, as this tp is a joke. Itโs also not ideal for blowing your nose or the sniffles, as the absorbansy there lacks as well. It does the job in the area where it should but still, I would not recommend this to to anyone looking for a soft eco friendly solution. There are so many more out there this isnโt worth it and Iโve honestly make dreaded using it and have used some spare charmin and the remainder two or three quilted nrotherns I had left alternating since purchasing this in the fall. Thankfully Iโm on the last roll. And to finish up with quilted northern, as mentioned , I started to look for new to as they have cut corners rolls are smaller packaging has changed & possibly not as soft, so Iโm only interested inthe old version & going to stock pile on that and maybe go back to white cloud (three ply, it used to be better but quality has changed as well, not quite as soft or thick as before but still a great alternative to qus). But might end up changing again to charmin as I hadnโt releasized how soft it was until a visit over the holiday at my mums, & obviously took a few rolls with me as this stuff I would leave in the guest bathroom as iโd rather avoid using it! I donโt mind spending money on items that I use daily or put to use, and to me, household essentials are just as important as the mattress you buy and the pillows you sleep, itโs all an investment in your health and well being in the long run, as the same goes for food and clothing, quality always over quantity any day. Wish this was actually silky smooth but this was so corse & u can easily see the 3 ply layers when using as it is incredibly thin, as mentioned, wha I imagine 1 ply tp is, just rolled three times - Eco friendly or not, Save your money, I would call this the eco alternative to the tp at a public restroom (not a nice one)! Iโll be sticking with my go toโs for now but still remain optimistic for a luxurury eco friendly/pure alternative thatโs as soft as real 3 ply feels! I like to think of toilet paper as facial tissue as the name goes, and use it for more than just the loo!

Great product
This is a great product. I read some reviews saying the paper was hard to detach from the perforated edge....I'm not sure if Silk n' soft facilitated a product upgrade but out of the 4 packs I have bought so far I've had no issues. Also, the TP holder in the middle is not "thick" as I've read in other reviews (not that it at all has a bearing on the review) it is the same as regular TP so I'm not sure again if the company resolved an earlier customer concern. It is environmentally friendly, does not irritate sensitive skin or leave little dust particles. It's soft, sturdy and I feel overall better than other TP brands. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Surprisingly good!
Pretty good product. It looks awfully thin and flimsy for 3-ply and rips very easily at the perforation marks, but is surprisingly strong and durable, and also soft. Feels nice, and hasn't torn on me yet or left behind lint and particles like other toilet paper does. The fact that it is eco friendly makes it an even bigger surprise that it's so good. I think I have found my new brand!!

Thankful
I have Multi Chemical sensitivity. Basically allergic to every chemical. And apparently a ton of chemicals are used in toilet paper. I also have an intolerance to cotton so bamboo has been my new go to for a number of things. I give this 4 stars. Firstly it fixed the allergy issue (so thankful). It is soft enough and strong. My only complaint is the size of the rolls are tiny. Itโs definitely more money than I would normally spend on TP so it gets one demerit for cost. But I am thankful I have found this product, please continue to make this!

I'm impressed
wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it. It's quite durable which is great, if anything a tad bit on the rough side, but not in a way that is bothersome. Very have it doesn't leave residue like some TP does. Most grateful to have an option that is saving trees!

Best Sustainable Toilet Paper
I have tried multiple brands of sustainable toilet paper but this one is the best (soft, durable and affordable). I wish it was sold at Sobeys, Loblaws and/or Healthy Planet in Toronto - I think it would do really well! I would love to see more people switching to this product since it is good for the planet! And perhaps with economies of scale it would before even more affordable!
