Doesn't work with portable monitor (with DP Alt Mode) without additional power
Edited after I tried an additional power cable...... Didn't work for my portable monitor with USB-C input and just USB-A cable. The USB A cable did not provide enough power to keep the monitor on. I had to provide additional power to the monitor (which thankfully had an extra USB-C port). So - it works if you have an additional USB-C port or can supply external power to your portable monitor, if you cant - this cant provide enough power on its own.

This cable is the correct direction (a hard find for my second portable monitor), which I really appreciate. But the power source (USB) doesnt seem to pull enough power to support the monitor. Image support is fine though. I was able to hook up a second cord to my monitor to supply the power and it works well. So while I was able to figure things out for myself, but may not be the best fit for everyone.

Cable worked as needed
A good value for a cable and is constructed well. It worked for what I needed it for. Take a note that this is a single directional cable. The HDMI and USB A connection designed for the computer device. The USB C connector is connected to a monitor or KVM switch. if you're connecting a USB-C computer device to an HDMI monitor, you will need a different cable type.

good support from the seller
The original 6ft cable does not work with my dell mini monitor. Seller sent a 3ft cable which works fine with my monitor. I really appreciate the quick response and support from the seller.

Worth a shot if you are stuck with HDMI but DisplayPort is always going to be better than HDMI.
Works but was only able to get it at 1080p. Couldn’t get it to recognize anything higher on my 4k monitor.

Overall good
Works with dock comes with Nintendo switch 2 to use as usb c input to a smart monitor. Minor power draw when idle, and becomes warm.

For me, these work better than the HDMI to USB-C dongles.
These work, but you will need a beefy power supply. My solution was a 65w power brick, which i pluged this into, with the power brick always connected to its charger. As for sound, that is dependent on the HDMI source and the AR Glasses, which often has an alternative audio mode to switch to.

Not the cable to plug from PC to Viture Beast.
I tried every which way to make it work. Plug USB-A to USB3.0 on PC, iphone brick, ipad brick. Does not work. Get either black screen or green screen. Not saying that this cable is no good for other products. It's no good for Vitrue Beast AR Glasses to connect to PC.
