Hands down, the BEST purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon, this desk is an absolute tank! Four years in, and it’s still ridiculously sturdy (like, could probably survive a tornado sturdy). Yeah, it’s heavy AF—building it solo will turn into a workout (I built it solo), so grab a friend. But once it’s up? Chef’s kiss. ッI’ve treated it like a normal human, I do clean it and I don’t put hot stuff directly on it. and aside from a few scuffs from daily life (which you can’t see unless you’re up close), it looks brand new. Even moving was shockingly easy—taking it apart took zero brain cells (though, again, recruit a second person unless you’re into awkward heavy lifting).10/10, zero regrets. If this desk ever dies, I’m buying the same one again. 👏 Worth. Every. Penny. 👏

This kind of furniture is fantastic. Good Size, Great Design, More posibilities, Good material. Easy to asemble with the instructions, which were so accurate. Elegant and great color matching with the rest of my furniture. I feel fantac¡stic working here doing this review. YUHU!!! The drawer storage are not to big but it is what it is for the size of the desk. The cabinet with the door is deep, but the drawers not. Maybe could be deeper? And has another space in between the desk top and the storage to place more stuff, however I try to let them empty, but is an option. I am happy since I have this desk , 6 or 7 months ago.

We (my son and I) assembled this using the cardboard box as a way to protect the floor and the desk itself while putting it together. I worked on one side while my son did the other since the instructions are pretty much the same for both sides until you get to the drawers and cabinet pieces.It is a standard assembly job for desk of this type, wooden dowels, locking screws, etc. Not sure why the instructions said a hammer was needed as we never used it. The desk pieces were all in good shape with the exception being one of the longer support metal bars that runs under the desk (not the legs) as it has a rough finish to it. Kind of reminded me of metal paint that is ready to crack. Hopefully that will not be the case with this one but it was placed in the back of the desk so out of sight.The cabinet door was a bit of a pain to adjust, couldn't seem to get it just right so it still seems to have a slight angle to it but it doesn't rub so we'll chalk that up as a win! My son was very excited to have his new desk and the clutter that was on the floor has been cleared up and the cable feed hole in the center of the desktop will help keep his desk a bit less of an eyesore hopefully!I like the design and look of the desk and it fits nicely in his room without being too large and just the right size for his computer setup.

Is a little low to the ground. I am 5.4 and use a laptop so I had to lower my chair a bit. But I like that it's compact and sturdy. The drawers are not deep enough as filling cabinets but the big cabinet on the right is spacious. It took two people to put together. We use only two Philips head screwdrivers to assemble. You don't really need a hammer as it says. I am pregnant 35 weeks now and my husband has back pain but we did it in an hour or so. So it's doable. There is a video recommendation on YouTube for a step by step process. But the manual is generally what you will need. I am using in a corner on our bedroom and it doesn't take too much space. I did an extensive research before purchasing and I definitely recommend it. You have enough space on top for bigger equipment but I just have one laptop as of now. The packaging its done efficiently. It comes in two different boxes so make sure to have that in mind when you pick it up. And that's all I think you should know. Good buy for an affordable price.

I detest the hollow sound so many tables and desks make when you knock on them. I was fortunate to inherit solid furniture and am used to the solid sound that heavy wood makes. I finally accepted that my great grands father’s desk doesn’t fit me after a decade of crunching my body into it and suffering for it and I assumed this one would be a weak substitute but I was wrong and this is sturdily built.-top sounds solid when you knock it-mouse and keyboard clicking doesn’t resonate-the whole thing is heavy and builtTook me 4 hours and 20 minutes to build it myself. I didn’t need any help but there’s one step you’ll need to be tall and/or fit to do by yourself (easy with two people.) No step was difficult and I got it right the first time but there are a lot of parts. I was tired though and I think a team of 2 dedicated people would get it done in 2 hours.Extremely pleased by the value for money here. I was considering desks >$1k before giving this one a shot and I’d pick it over every other one I looked at.

Really Good quality wood and easy instructions, I am a single middle aged lady and it only took me a couple of hours to assemble and its sturdy. Perfect accent for my work area.
