Nice and light and clear lenses but they break very easily. I’ve had them for a week and 4 pair of glasses already snapped in half at the nose piece.

I like the style clear but the side ear pc breaks easily has broken on 3 pairs

These Gaoye reading glasses can be worn comfortably for a prolonged reading session. The blue light filtering gives the lenses a slight tint. The lenses are attached to the frame at the top and the nose piece at the sides. Since the frame does not surround the lenses, the glasses are lighter. The frames have spring hinges, but are not otherwise adjustable. The lenses provide enough viewing area to allow for natural reading without moving your head. The lenses are not made of glass, which also reduces their weight. A cleaning cloth is included. A half dozen reading glasses could be useful if you don’t have any, but may be overkill if you already have a collection. The GAOYE brand is on the box, but not on the glasses. Made in China.

Optometrist recomended reading glasses. As an avid reader with no issues reading text, I disagree and certainly wasn't pating for bifocal or progressive lenses. If I needed them, I need them, but I don't. Did see an advantage to having some around for doing small detail work on electronics, reading circuit board info, etc, the kind of stuff one would often want a mangifying glass to read anyway. Going to be a lot easier to do that stuff having both hands free. Rather than paying what the local pharmacy department wants for a pair, I decided to get these and have several pairs that I can scatter around and only out a couple of bucks if I loose or break them. Overall they seem to be well made for the price. Magnification looks good. I've only got two real complaints so far. First is that the package arrived crushed, the actual product box, not the shipping package, though the glasses seem to have survived. Second is it did not include the storage sleeves, which would have been nice for carrying around or storage when not using. A third minor complaint is that I'm not certain about how good the tinted "sunglass" lenses are going to do, the shade seems off when looking through them. Of course wearing them instead of my regular prescription, I quickly realized I'm not going to be using them outside in the sun that much anyway. I'm sure there will be times that they prove handy, but not many.
