16013 10 Screw Extractor and Left Hand Drill Bit Set

Great set for the price. Got me out of a broken bolt mess.

Havent used it yet but looks promising.

These aren’t anything amazing but they are sold and cheep. Used them to extract a few bolts so far. Feels amazing when the bolt comes out without having to use the extractor. Have to love left handed drill bits.

Broke a screw head off and needed to remove it. The smallest size drill bit in the kit was what I needed. It was drilling in slow and steady but then the screw began to turn with it... caused additional pressure to be applied to the bit and the bit snapped almost instantly. The good news is that I was just able to get the screw extractor in to remove the screw. The bad news is that if I need the bit again I will have to buy a whole new kit. Any chance you sell single bits? Otherwise this is mighty wasteful.

Used it the day I got it and the drill bit snapped in half. I was not pushing hard at all because I saw a bend in the bit as I was try in g to use it. Went to the next size up and it doesn’t do what it is intended to do. Would not recommend this one.

Did the job as necessary. Save me a ton of stress.

ordené este kit para extraer tres tornillos en cruz tipo JIS que mi desarmador philips destruyo. intente con pinzas, intente con desarmador manual de impacto y nada, ordene estas brocas de reversa y los extractores. no tuve ningun problema para utilizar el kit. dos de los tornillos salieron con la pura broca de zurdos, y el restante salio con el extractor. Realmente funciona, muy satisfecho con la compra

This is not a tool for a mechanic or machinist, maybe a wood worker...the drill bits working in reverse (left rotation) take forever to drill metal bolts, even with cutting oil and very low rpm. They just have no sharpness to them, even by feel with your finger zero cut to the tip. Once you get drilled down a bit the extractor has no grip, the flutes are very undefined. Had to use Mibro ones that gripped instantly and backed the broken bolt out. The bolt in question was a broken exhaust manifold stud, it was not seized or rusted in the bore, using normal drill bits it kept threading deeper...it was likely a hardened steel. This kit is not for tough jobs, it will not cut it.
