I just want to glue a printed 8x11 1/2 paper to cardstock to make a journal for friends.... will this work. Paste whole sheet or perimeter?

This will work. It is bookbinders glue. You can paste whole page or perimeter, try both and if it buckles in the middle pasting whole page, try perimeter. I think pasting whole page would be my first choice.

I know it will clean up with water while its still wet. But after it dries is it water proof or water soluble still?

No it's pretty much permanent after it dries. Youight be able to get it to a gooey consistensy if you soaked the book or paper it is on in water

Will this product work to reinforce Bible that is coming apart?

This glue is used for bookmaking, therefore it should work as well or better than anything else. The glue will work, but I suggest you look online for exactly the technique needed to do the type of repair your Bible requires.

Will this glue yellow over time? I want to use it to stiffen fabric for millinery and I don't want my pieces to end up yellow after a few years.

In my experience with the product it does not yellow. I use on book binding and over a period of 9 months if it is visible it is white.

Works Well

Remember that its just glue. You have to clean off all the old stuff first. And the spine if it needs it. I coated the pages that needed reinserting. Let them dry then dry fitted everything before final re-gluing. Try to use light coats. You can use a palette knife or firm cardboard as a glue spreader. Take your time. This stuff works well. Good Luck.
